Victoria A. Cipriani, age 62, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Glassport, died May 15, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born January 15, 1954, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Fred, Jr. and the late Delores (Princeton) Cipriani and the companion of Rita DeMore of Cranberry for 39 years.
Tori was a retired pharmacy technician. She was a member of St. Killian’s Church. She had a passion for caring for her pets Cobie, Peanut, Romeo and Cookie. Tori loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the children in her life.

David S. Michaels, age 29, of Lincoln Borough, died May 2, 2016, at West Penn Hospital. Born January 29, 1987, in McKeesport, he was the son of Terry and Peggy (Kelly) Komyanik of Liberty Borough and the husband of Heather (Glos) Michaels of Lincoln Borough.
David was a manager for American Express. He loved Disney World and making dreams come true. He loved to draw, enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and watching his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Angella E. Dixon, age 29, of Port Vue, died April 29, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born May 28, 1986, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Guy and Candace Kim (Simeral) Lettieri.
Angie worked as a CNA until her illness kept her from doing so. She was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing, decorating cakes and caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. God blessed Angie with a beautiful voice and now she will sing in his choir of angels.

She was a past employee at Federated Investors and the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese. She also volunteered her time at Kane Regional in McKeesport.

Mike Kurka, age 91, of McKeesport, died April 22, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born November 8, 1924, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Warga) Kurka.
Mike was a US Army veteran serving during WWII. He was a gentle man always caring for the children in his life and his loving family. He also enjoyed a good cigar.
Mike is survived by a sister, Anna Bills of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to Mike’s parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Peter and Mary.

Richard A. “Rico” Simica, age 47, of McKeesport, died April 18, 2016, at his home. Born December 25, 1968, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Albena A. (Ornowski) Simica.
Rico was the owner of Mama Pepino’s Pizza in Elizabeth. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and could often be found reading or watching the History channel. Always willing to help anyone, Rico was a wonderful brother, uncle, great uncle and friend.

Carl W. Ghrist, age 76, of Latrobe, died April 13, 2016, at Greensburg Care Center. Born April 7, 1940, in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Ethel (Detor) Ghrist.
Carl was retired from the asphalt industry. He enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army, where dressed as Santa to help collect donations for the less fortunate. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.
