Kathleen M. Liberatore, age 69, of McKeesport, died October 11, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born November 5, 1946 in Hazelwood, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Savilla (Garrity) Brennan and the wife of Ronald L. Liberatore, for over 50 loving years.
Kathy retired as an instructor at Mon-Yough Mental Health with over 25 years of service and before that she worked at US Steel National Tube Works, in McKeesport, for 5 years.

She was a member of the McKeesport Tiger Alumni Association. She attended Corpus Christi Church. She loved being a Florida “snow bird” at Clearwater Beach every February and family vacations at Myrtle Beach in July. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was an avid sports fan for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed walking and working in her garden.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by sons, Derik (Lauren) of New York, NY and Justin (Anne) of South Fayette; grandchildren, Logan, Savannah, Vincent and Mario; brother, James (Diane) Brennan of Charlotte, NC; sister, Judy (Mike) Joyce of McKeesport; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, from 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Saturday, Oct.15, 2016, 10 a.m., with Fr. Steven M. Palsa, as celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date in the New St. Joseph Mausoleum.
