Dale S. Welsch, 65 of Duquesne died unexpectantly at home on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Born in McKeesport on September 3, 1954, he was the son of Braun and Betty (Tietze) Welsch. Mr. Welsch was a self-employed contractor and the Proprietor of Welsch's Exterior Cleaning and Home Renovation Company. Beloved husband of Roberta (Yerecic) Welsch.

He is also survived by a loving daughter Kristen (Scott) Parnell, a sister Roxanne Anson, a grandson, Tyler Parnell and a great niece, Emma Yerecic. Also survived by his best four-legged pet dogs Hailey and Polly and granddog Daisy. He also was preceded in death by a loving nephew Matthew Yerecic.

Marie (Haroulakis) Bumbas, 90, of Munhall died peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2019, in John J. Kane Regional Medical Center, Glen Hazel. Born on July 5, 1929, in Duquesne she was the daughter of the Late John and Sarah (Feeney) Haroulakis. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Bumbas.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Patrick of Munhall, and Dianne Bumbas of West Mifflin, a daughter-in-law, Marcia Bumbas of Monroeville; four grandchildren, John Pulkownik of Castle Shannon, Joseph Pulkownik of Munhall, John Bumbas of Espyville, and Sarah Andrews of West Mifflin; seven great grandchildren, Dylan and Logan Pulkownik, Serena and Sienna Bumbas, Austin and Eli Kurta, and Avery Grace Williams.

Mr. Legin was a member of Christ, The Light of the World Parish, Duquesne; a retired Police Officer, with forty years of service to the City of Duquesne, and a Life Member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 91. Beloved husband of the Late Karen Surgent Legin, he is survived by two loving sons, Matthew J. Legin and John R. (Lori) Legin; a brother, Mark Legin, two sisters, Janine (Charles) Millirons and Rosemary (Al) Waldron, four grandchildren, Alexander Legin, Nathan Legin, Abigail Legin, and Nathan Stevens, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Born in Duquesne, May 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the Late Joseph and Mary (Vesonder) Kozak. Mrs. Kozak was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin. Beloved wife of the Late Albert Kozak, she is survived by her loving children, Barry (Kathy) Kozak and Donna (Chet) Palesko; six grandchildren, Alan Palesko (Amy Nicks), Amy Lujan (Marcos), Lauren Ray (Dustin), Nicholas Kozak (Alexandra), Daniel Kozak  and David Kozak; five great-grandchildren, Owen, Talia, Justine, Jackson and Max. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Tarczy and Clara Bodnar.

Milan Samudosky, 87, of West Mifflin, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Czechoslovakia, March 16, 1932, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Vasko) Samudovsky. Mr. Samudosky was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne; a retired equipment operator of the former Continental Can Corporation, West Mifflin; and a proud U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. An Avid fisherman, Mr. Samudosky also ran a Fishing Charter on Lake Erie. He is survived by three sons, Gary Samudosky, John (Pamela) Samudosky, and Vincent Samudosky; three grandchildren, Brittany ad Corey Samudosky and Julianne Moore; three great grandchildren, Archer, Theodore and Ruby. Mr Samudosky was also preceded in death by a brother Michael Samudosky.

Timothy R. "Dr. Rock" Beal Sr., 64, of Forward Twp., died peacefully at home on Sunday, October 27, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 17, 1955, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George A. and Elizabeth (Lopota) Beal. Mr. Beal was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, and a retired Maintenance Department employee of the former Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel Corporation. He was also a former organist and drummer of Christ Lutheran Church in Duquesne, owner of Sharon's Pizza Shop in Duquesne, and was happiest when he was disc jockeying at weddings and parties.

She is also survived by a son Richard (Kimberly) Morgan of Murrysville, a daughter Roberta (Robert) Moses of Carlisle, a sister Colleen Sommerville, two grandchildren, Kyle Joseph Morgan and Connor Michael Segina. On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Elsie Kolcun, Dunmore, PA formerly of Duquesne, PA, passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Born in Duquesne, PA she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Chabala) Vasilisin. Married to the late George Kolcun, whom she shared 53 devoted years with before his passing in 2009. They relocated in 2003 to be near their daughter Sharon and her family. Elsie was a lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne and St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Dunmore, PA. She was retired from the Greek Catholic Union claims department. Prior to relocation she was a very active member of her church and District One of the Greek Catholic Union. Elsie passed the time crocheting, especially baby afghans as gifts, which many new babies have enjoyed. She loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren, the loves of her life.

Mr. Yurchison was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, and a self employed contractor. Beloved husband of the late Diane (McDermitt) Yurchison, he is survived by three sons, Gary Yurchison, Paul (Elizabeth) Yurchison, and Matthew (Danielle) Yurchison, four grandchildren, Andrew, Katelyn, Joseph, and Emily, nieces, nephews, and special companion, Kathy Miller. In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Yurchison and three brothers, Bernard Rogers, Francis and Ronald Yurchison.

Robert P. Holuka, 73, of West Mifflin, originally from Duquesne, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019. Born March 29, 1946 to the late John and Mary (Magdich) Holuka. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, John. Robert is survived by his former wife, Karen (Lunz) Holuka.

He is already terribly missed by his daughter, Amy Tricia Graham. She will never forget her childhood memories of having "feet fights" on the couch, him allowing her to put barrettes and bows in what hair he had left, watching boxing with him and of course she still has and uses the toy box he made for her many decades ago. She will be forever so proud of him and very gratefull she inherited his Bob Vila and MacGyver skills and his quirkiness.

Born on November 1, 1926, in Samudovce, Slovakia, he was the son of the Late John and Elizabeth (Andrejo) Evans. Mr. Evans was a faithful member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, where he served as Cantor from 1972 until 2014. He also was a member of the Byzantine Catholic Archieparchial Choir of Pittsburgh, a retired Design Draftsman for the former U.S. Steel Corporation, Homestead Works, and a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. beloved husband of the Late Helen Mihalov Evans, he is survived by his loving children Daniel J. Evans (Elaine), Pamela A. Donkin (Wayne) and Patricia M. Weidman (Dennis); eight Grandchildren, Jennifer M. Magee (Shawn), Gregory D. Evans (Sarah), Nicholas J. Evans, Amy Cinci (Chris), Kimberly Donkin, Adam Churchill, Jeremy Churchill (Kelly), and Tyler Churchill; and four Great Grandchildren, Emma Kate Magee, Anna Magee, Theodore Evans, and Carter Cinci.

Mr. Horgas was a member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, American Legion Post 308 in Dravosburg, and a proud U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II, and the former VFW Post 188 in Duquesne. Mr. Horgas was a retired employee of the Union Railroad Company. Beloved husband of the late Betty J. (Argilan) Horgas. He is survived by two sons, Edward (Diane) Horgas and Mark (Ona) Horgas; a brother Bernard (Lucy) Horgas, a sister-in-law Freda Horgas; four grandchildren, Michelle (Robert) Donofrio, Mark (Julie) Horgas, Kristen Horgas, and John Henry Horgas; and three great grandsons, Nickolas, Jacob, and Declan; and several nieces and nephews.
