She was a retired sales associate for Sears and Roebuck. She loved going to Elizabeth Seton Center in Brookline for bingo. She loved Olive Garden and spending time with her grandkids. Born February 8, 1944 in Monongahela, she was a daughter of the late Jesse R. and Florence (Moller) Hohn and wife of the late William J. “Pockets” McManus. She is survived by daughter, Diane Bullister of Castle Shannon; son, Rennie McManus of South Park; grandchildren, Erin Bullister, Sean (Emma Kurban) and Ryan Bullister; great-granddaughter, Clementine Bullister; sister, Barbara Yanko of Jefferson Hills; also, nieces and nephews. She belonged to the Duquesne American Croatian Club and the Mifflin Club.
She enjoyed playing Keno, watching Gunsmoke, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

Monique Hardy was born on May 2, 1967, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a native of the Hill district and was later raised in Detroit, Michigan. Monique relocated to Penn Hills, PA where she was raised by her Grandmother Sybil Hardy Butler.
Monique raised her children in Lancaster, S. C. before finally settling down in McKeesport, PA, where she peacefully found her way to Glory surrounded by her children and loved ones.
Monique was the oldest child of the late great Sharron (Sissy) Hardy and Roderick Pickett Sr. She was loved dearly and those who knew her all called her "MOE!” Monique received her education in the Pittsburgh Public School District. She enjoyed camping trips to Keystone State Park, crafting, sewing, diamond art, had a good sense of humor, and would frequently dress up for school in outfits that would express her personality. Bessie Lee (Picketts) Huston, age 96, of Forward Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Mon Valley Care Center Nursing Home in Carroll Twp. Bessie has left a lasting void in the hearts of those who loved her. She was born August 1, 1928 in Glassport to Abraham and Adelaide (Steffan) Picketts. The family moved to Pangburn Hollow Road where Bessie resided her entire life. This is where she met and married her husband of 47 years, Charles W. Huston Sr., who passed away in 1993. Bessie loved visiting her son at his winter home in Florida, going to the dances on Wednesday nights at the American Legion in Monongahela and definitely enjoyed the bright, beautiful sun. Bessie worked as an aide at Lawson Nursing Home then retired from Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills. She is survived by her five children, Charles W. Huston Jr. of New Eagle, Clarence Terry (Janet) Huston of Monongahela, Susan (Joe) Perine of Monongahela, Laurie (Edward) Izzo of Rostraver and David (Darlene) Huston of Bentleyville; grandchildren, Michael Huston, Randy and Ryan Perine, Lindsey (Chris) and Emily Izzo, Adam Fine, and Matthew, Jeffrey and Michael Fitch; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her extended family whom she loved and called her own, Thomas (Judy) Rippel of Alabama, Darlene (Steve) Wales of North Carolina and Richard (Karen) Rippel of Michigan; brother, Daniel Picketts of Ohio; also, many nieces and nephews. Andrea Milchick McAfee, age 66 of North Huntingdon, passed away on May 2, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1958 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Andrew Milchick and Mary Louise Cifranick Milchick. Andrea was a graduate of Norwin High School in the Class of 1976, and she went on to become a pastry chef and cook at various regional restaurants. Andrea was known for her gregarious personality and she always went above and beyond to help her friends in times of need. She was a cat lover, and in her free time she looked forward to cooking and baking. Most of all, Andrea cherished the time that she spent with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Milchick. She is survived by three brothers, Kenneth A. Milchick (and wife Mary E. "Liz" Milchick), Dennis R. Robert A. "Red" Pardick, Sr., age 84, of Buena Vista, died May 1, 2025, at Forbes Hospital. Born February 23, 1941, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Frank and Agnes (Gibbons) Pardick and the loving husband of Donna (Allen) Pardick for 58 years. Robert dedicated an impressive 40 years of his life to Local #3 as an iron worker, a trade that not only defined his career but also represented his unwavering commitment to his craft and community. In his youth, he contributed to Bahrenberg, and after retirement, he continued to display his passion for hands-on work by welding trucks and meticulously maintaining his personal vehicles. A steadfast supporter of his community, Robert was an active member of the Buena Vista Fire Hall, offering his time and skills as needed. His dedication extended to the McKeesport Sportsmen's Association, where he proudly held a lifetime membership, cementing his connection to the outdoors and the fellowship of fellow sportsmen. Robert also had a love for horses. He had several of his own that he took to shows and cared for the horses at the Greenwald Farm. His love for these majestic animals was a testament to his gentle spirit and nurturing heart. Robert's legacy of kindness, hard work, and community service will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
