Joyce Ann  Rager, age 89 of Irwin, passed away on February 22, 2024 at the St. Anne Home in Greensburg. She was born on April 15, 1934, in Herminie, a daughter of the late John and Lois Tinsman Leisure. Joyce cherished her role as a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed working on puzzles, crafting, ceramics, needlepoint, word searches and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her sister Judith Mori and a daughter, Debbie Montini.. She is survived by her son, Dr. David Ross, daughter-in-law Sue Ross, grandchildren Jaime Knauff, Kelsey Ross, Jacey Ross, and great-grandchildren Julianna, Lilliana, and Alexander. David L. Morton, age 70 of North Huntingdon, passed away on February 22, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on May 5, 1953 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Donald and Margery Malone Morton. Prior to his retirement, David was employed as an Electrical Engineer for First Energy, formerly West Penn Power. He was a graduate of both Norwin High School, Class of 1971, and the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1975 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. David attended St. Agnes Church with his family, and was an active member within the Boy Scouts . He enjoyed traveling, especially to Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, working on cars, and assembling his annual Lionel Christmas train display.  David is survived by his beloved wife Cindy Lenhart, son Daniel (Traci) Morton, daughters Dr. Laura Morton Newhouser (Dr. Shane), and Jennifer O'Mahony (Pat), brother Robert Morton (Cindy), sisters Nancy Goblesky (Donald Jr.) and Donna Dolekary (James), grandchildren Luke, Cecelia, Matthias, Audrey, and Lydia, and numerous extended family members. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Agnes Church on Tuesday at 9:30 AM.  PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Patricia J. Fouser, age 92, of Dravosburg, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Kane Community Living Center, McKeesport. Born in Pitcairn on October 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Louise (Hicks) Smith. 

 She was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed bingo, was an avid reader, especially articles about WW II, enjoyed war movies, was a wonderful cook and an avid hot tea drinker.

Patricia was the wife of the late Kenneth Fouser; mother of Robert (Jane Ann) Fouser of Dravosburg, Kenneth Fouser of Bedford, Jack (Judy) Fouser of West Mifflin, Jill (late Al) Ernst of West Mifflin, Kathy (John) Armstrong of Liberty Boro, David (Karen) Fouser of Xenia, OH and Scott Fouser of Dravosburg; grandmother of Robert, Dena, John, Joshua, Joshlynn, Becky, J.C., Brett, Brian, Brad, Jenny, Michael, David Jr., Justin and Andrew; and 16 great grandchildren.

Thomas P. Dunmire, age 79 of North Huntingdon died February 21, 2024, at Transitions, North Huntingdon. He was born November 16, 1944, a son of the late Harry W. and Jean Barrett Dunmire. He was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School. Serving as both secretary and treasurer of the Larimer VFD Social Club, Tom enjoyed spending time with his friends and socializing. Prior to his retirement, Tom was employed by WABTEC in the shipping department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Taber. He is survived by one brother, Larry Dunmire; a sister, Rose Dworek; and three nephews Ron Taber (Vickey) and their son Shannon (Claudia), and their children Milo and Rachael (Nick) Carter, and their children Delaney and Lydia, Daniel Taber, and Bobby Taber (Mona) and their children Jessie and Bobby.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Larimer Volunteer Fire Department.  Visitation will be Sunday 1-4 PM with a service at 4PM at James W. Born in McKeesport on July 30, 1963, he was the son of the late Robert J. “Chip” and Sheila H. (Holahan) Hamar. He was a custodian for the University of Pittsburgh, a former altar server at Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church-Duquesne and enjoyed watching TV and sitting on his back porch.

Eugene is the beloved husband of 21 years to Deloris “Dee” (Cutshall) Hamar. Robert Arthur Boot, age 81, of North Huntington, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on February 16, 2024. Born April 20, 1942, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Arthur "Dink" and Martha (Campbell) Boot and the husband of Joan (Kohl) Boot for 57 years.
He worked at Westinghouse for 18 years and Meco/Whemco as an electrician until he retired. Bob was a graduate of McKeesport High School.
He served in the US Navy for four years on the Destroyers USS Forrest B Royal & USS Arcadia as a Maintenance Foreman and Damage controller during the Vietnam War.
He was also a Volunteer fireman for the Hartford Heights Fire Company.
Bob and his wife Joan were always together, riding their trike, traveling the country in their RV, vacationing to see family, or visiting New England.

Born February 3, 1953, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Wray) Cooper and the wife of Duane Hreha.  Deborah's journey began at Mon Yough Catholic Girls School, where she nurtured her love for learning and graduated in 1971. She furthered her education at Penn State University, graduating in 1975, where she met her soulmate, Duane Hreha, who would become her devoted husband.  After Penn State, Deborah went on to Carnegie Mellon University where she earned her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering. As an Analytical Chemist for the Department of Energy, Deborah displayed exceptional skill and passion for her work, earning the respect of her colleagues.  A woman of many talents and interests, Deborah was an active member of various organizations, including the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemists and Applied Spectroscopy, the Society of Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh, Mary, Mother of God Parish, and the Christian Mothers. She also cherished moments spent honing her creativity through cake decorating, crocheting, and crafting, bringing joy to her family and friends with her handmade creations.  Throughout her life, Deborah found joy in simple pleasures, from trips to Kennywood, Idlewood, and Rehoboth Beach to sharing special moments with grandchildren. Her dedication to her family, community, and passions will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
