Edward Thomas Kreiner, age 87, of the Baltimore, MD area passed away on February 26, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Frank Anthony Kreiner Sr. and Helen A. (Conniff) Kreiner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant after 22 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of several organizations which included the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association and the Military Officers Association of America. Mr. Kreiner was also a 32nd Degree Mason.

John L. Ross, Sr., age 60 of Versailles, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 27, 1956 in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Richard V. and Harriett (Burkett) Ross and loving husband and best friend of Cheryl (Spurgeon) Ross. John honorably served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of 11th Ward Club, Croatian Club, White Oak American Legion Post 701. John truly enjoyed to ride his motorcycle, even after the loss of his leg he continued to enjoy his passion of riding. He also loved his loyal dog “Adena.” John’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, John L. Ross, Jr. with whom he lived; daughter, Rachael Ross of McKeesport, grandson, Caleb; sisters, Jennifer (Jim) Holoman of North Carolina, Kathie(Joe)Ringeisen of Munhall and Dianna Burkett of North Carolina; step-sisters, Rose Kollar, Pat Peterson and Kathleen Bubb; step-brother, Steve Andreoli; and many nieces and nephews. Edward “Rebel” Lewis Kasyan, 79, of West Mifflin, formerly of Sebring, FL, passed away at Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, February 27, 2017. He was born July 19, 1937 to the late Pete and Helen Banko Kasyan. Edward was the loving life partner of 40 years to Betty Mae Bishop. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Kasyan of Bethel Park and Timothy Kasyan of West Mifflin, step daughters Deborah Bishop of Dravosburg, Pamela (George) Stoupis of Elizabeth, and Lynda (Tim) Nesiti of Dravosburg, grandchildren Danielle, Donald, Nikki, and George. Edward was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete and Michael Kasyan, and a sister, Margaret Jeffcoat. Edward formerly served as a member of the United States Air Force, as well as for 9 years as a police officer of the Dravosburg Police Department. He was also employed by Hamburg Bros. Electronics.
