Stephen C. Pholar, age 82 of White Oak, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born August 17, 1942 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Stephen L. and Helen (Cifra) Pholar. A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Angela Merici Church, White Oak, Stephen was a graduate of Duquesne University. He retired as the community planner for the City of Clairton, and also served as city manager, and was a former director of the West to West Coalition. Stephen is survived by his wife Margaret "Maggie" (DeCarlo) Pholar; his children Alexis (Dr. Todd) Hrbek of Greensburg and Nicholas (Apryle) Pholar of Nanti Glo; his grandchildren Maxwell, Emma, and Molly Hrbek and Amber Sims; his sister Marlene Pennington of Bethel Park; and his brother Conrad M. Pholar of Castle Shannon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert J. Pholar.

Connie Griswold, 72, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at home surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. She was born April 1, 1952 in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Harry T. and Dorothy (Mullin) Griswold. She obtained an Associate Degree from Robert Morris University and started her career as Executive Secretary for CNG Transmission, now Dominion Resources for 25 years. She then followed her passion for the elderly and became Activities Director at The Grove at Latrobe Nursing Home for 16 years. Connie loved to travel, visiting many National Parks and Historical Sites, sailing with family on the Pamlico Sound in North Carolina, golfing particularly with her league "The Manoretts", music of all kinds, volunteering, reading, nature and the outdoors and spending time with neighbors and friends.

Virginia "Ginny" Kaylor Rollin, 94, of Carlsbad, California, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born March 25, 1930 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Helen (McClay) Kaylor. Ginny was the wife of 57 years to the late Donald H. Rollin, who passed away October 11, 2014. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Greenock. Ginny worked as a drafting clerk at the former Bell Telephone Engineering Department before becoming a homemaker. Ginny became involved with several organizations, putting her planning and organizing skills to great use. She was Past Mother Advisor of the former Elizabeth Assembly #120, International Order of Rainbow for Girls, Past President Church Council of the former St. John’s Lutheran Church in McKeesport, and Past President of the Highlander Ladies Bowling League. She was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star, most recently Clairton Chapter No. 316 and a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers.

Gertrude Colletta Capocciama, 88, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born May 21, 1936 in Clairton and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Catherine (Kehoe) Allen. She was the wife of the late Donato "Dan" Alexander Capocciama who passed away October 1, 2024. Gertrude and Dan loved playing Tennis together for many years. She was retired from the US Steel Credit Union. She is survived by her son, Anthony F. (Carolann) Macioce of Christy Park, daughters, Colletta Youkin of White Oak and Lynn (Andy) Filippone of New Hampshire, grandsons, Brian Youkin and Brandon Youkin, Matthew Dimpel, Michael Dimpel and Jason Dimpel, great-grandchildren, Brandon Youkin, Madison and Delaney Fleming, and Dan Fletcher, and nieces and nephews. Theresa (Pastorius) Costa, age 95, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital. Theresa was born September 6, 1929 in Glassport. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Seigworth) Pastorius. Theresa was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, a Clairton High School graduate, and a salesperson for the former G.C. Murphy Co. in Clairton. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. Family meant the world to Theresa. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Costa, who passed away May 30, 1993 and her daughter Carol Zuro, who passed away on February 12, 2022. Theresa is survived by her son Joseph T. (Gloria) Costa of Jefferson Hills; her son-in-law Frank Zuro; grandchildren Nicole (Tom) D'Antonio of Jefferson Hills, Michael (Leah) Zuro of Pleasant Hills, Bryan (Abby) Costa of Lodi, WI, and Jodi (Frank) Stosic of Jefferson Hills; great-grandchildren Mia and Luke D'Antonio, Dominik Zuro, Zayden and Macsen Schrott, Bayne Costa, Haylie Schwab, Destinie Bedard, and Bella and Frankie Stosic; and nieces and nephews. Emma Louise Lindberg, 94, of McKeesport, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She was born on March 9, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Fred and Deborah Loraine (Duncan) Rose. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Lindberg. Emma was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in McKeesport and she was a Manager at Minerva Baker for 30 years. She was caring and hardworking. She loved sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Stephanie Lee Belusar, 73, of N Huntingdon, PA passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends during her final days. She was born on July 8, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Charlotte (Beondy) Josephic.
Stephanie worked for the family businesses for most of her life; Chateau Realty, Placid Manor and Charlie J’s. She was known for her work ethic, compassion, fairness and willingness to lend an ear or a hand when needed. She maintained the friendships she made for decades after Charlie J’s closed. In later years she worked for Giant Eagle, then Education Management Corporation when she retired in 2019.
Family was the thing she valued the most. She always made you feel like you were her number one priority. She would do anything for those she loved. Anytime you needed help or someone to talk to, you called Steph. Her favorite days were the ones spent with her children and the grandchildren she adored.
Stephanie was passionate about sports. In her younger years she was often the first one picked to be on the team. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf. She loved hosting watch parties on Steelers Sunday and never missed a game.
Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Jodie (Mark) Spagnolli, her son, Michael (Erica) Tokarsky, three grandchildren, Jake Spagnolli, Jordan Spagnolli and Faye Tokarsky. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane (John) Pugliano, Beth (Dennis) Liotta and brother John (Kerri) Josephic and several nieces and nephews.
She was loved deeply and will forever be missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved her.
