Douglas R. Weimer, Sr. age 85, of McKeesport, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was the son of the late Ross S.  and Gertrude Weimer; beloved husband of Louise H. (Ballog) Weimer.
He was retired from the McKeesport Parking Authority, former employee of US Steel, Duquesne; manager at Carnival Beverage in Duquesne; security officer at Wabco and also security manager for Zugarman Inc. and Giant Eagle. He was Committee man and former Council member for the City of McKeesport. Douglas belonged to the 11th Ward Welfare Assoc., and the Ushers Club of St. Pius.

Ronald A. Fedor, 73, of Port Vue, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born Aug. 17, 1942, in McKeesport, and is the son of the late Andrew and Mary Popik Fedor. He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Robert) Pegnato, of North Huntingdon; his son, Denny (Darnell) Fedor, of Washington, Pa.; grandchildren, Tyler and Layla Pegnato and Jericho Fedor; sister, Geraldine Grundler, of Naples, Fla.; and also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Regis Fedor. Mary Ann Bench, age 75, of Port Vue, died June 2, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born June 2, 1941, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Vella (Riffel) Perino and the wife of the late Joseph Bench.

Mary worked as a licensed cosmetologist in her early years and later as a nurses aide, until retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McKeesport. She was the past president of the Red Hat Ladies Society at Riverside Nursing Home. She enjoyed trips to the beach, crafts, bingo, and she especially enjoyed bowling with the other residents of Riverside Nursing Home.

Charlotte Waskowicz of McKeesport, passed peacefully in the arms of her daughter, Francine, on Sunday, June 5, 2016. It is with great sadness to inform her dear family and friends of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Johanna (Szymarek) Sieracki, and the beloved wife of John Waskowicz who preceded her in death. Charlotte is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Francine Waskowicz. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Bill Sharkey, Cathy Sharkey, Dolly (Nunzio) Chelli, Floyd (Darlene) Mandella, Arlene (Walt) Miscavage, Artie (Charlotte) Hartman, Carol Patik, Judy Madoff, Bob (Patience) Waskowicz and Marian Hrycyk; and many great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Charlotte began her career as a telephone operator and later worked as a clerk in the engineering department for Bell Telephone, from where she retired after more than 40 years of dedicated service. She was a long time parishioner of St. Mary of Czestochowa (Corpus Christi Parish), where she was a Christian Mother and member of the Ladies Aid Society and Catholic Daughters. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Corpus Christi Parish at 10 a.m. Father Michael Maranowski will officiate. (Per Charlotte's request, there will be no viewing). Burial will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery in White Oak. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity and keep Charlotte in your thoughts and prayers. She was born on July 27, 1936 in Wilkinsburg, the daughter of the late Roy and Helen Linhart, and was raised by her grandparents Roy and Mary Linhart. Maggie married Robert “Bob” Hunt on May 4, 1954 and they enjoyed 62 years of a beautiful marriage. She worked for the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit for more than 24 years as a teacher's aide. Maggie volunteered for the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and was the neighborhood cookie chairman for many years.
