Mary E. Hammon, age 85, of Clairton, died November 10, 2020 at the Seneca Place Nursing Home.  Born July 20, 1935, in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Logo) Evanko.
Mary had worked as a personal caretaker and a part time beautician. She was a member of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church. In her younger years, she danced with the Tamburitzans. Mary enjoyed traveling to the west coast and Canada. She was true animal lover, especially her pet poodle, Pepe.
Mary is survived by sister, Dorothy (Evanko) Hrabosky of West Mifflin; nieces and nephew and great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by brother, John Evanko, Sr. and nephew, John Evanko, Jr.
Interment will be on Friday, November 13, 2020, 1 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.

Ada Doty, age 91, of White Oak, died November 3, 2020 at Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport. Born July 5, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Bertha (Phipps) Wiles.  Ada worked at McKeesport Hospital for over 43 years as a switchboard operator and then for Walmart in West Mifflin in the fitting rooms. She was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church in McKeesport and an Auxiliary member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701.

Marcia Ann Haidle, age 61, of North Versailles, died November 6, 2020, at Kane Community Hospital of McKeesport. Born August 13, 1959, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Annette (Muhalsky) Feyes and the wife of Sam Haidle for over 35 years.
Marcia dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was a member of Community Life of McKeesport. Marcia enjoyed helping her husband DJ and the time they spent together. Her greatest joy was caring for her pets, or her "Baby's" as she referred to them, Jada, Onyx, Tu-tone, and Inky.

Born June 3, 1959, in the Mon Valley, she was the daughter of Edward Chovanec and the late Patricia Alverez, and the wife of the late Jeffrey Shaffer. Deborah enjoyed volunteering her time at the Greensburg Care Center. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and tending to her numerous flower gardens. She also had a lottery scratch-off ticket with her or around the house, always looking for a winner.

Elms.  Ann was retired from Daughtery Tool and Die and was a member of Park Baptist Church.  She loved to bake and was famous for her cookies and candy.  She enjoyed traveling with her daughter and family to the beach, New York City, and Disney World.

Richard R. Kugler Jr., age 73, of North Huntingdon, died October 23, 2020, at home. Born March 1, 1947, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Richard R. Kugler and Mary Loretta (Barry) Kugler and the husband of Deena L. Kugler for 38 years.Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a retired Millwright from SMS Tech Service. Richard was a member of St. Agnes Church in Irwin. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and especially enjoyed going to Whites Creek. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and they were his world. Richard had the biggest heart and was truly a great man.

Gladys Szymela, age 93, of McKeesport, died October 19, 2020, at Mount Vernon of Elizabeth.  She was born February 10, 1927 in Brdov, Poland to Piotra and Eleonor Czyzewska. Gary W. Thir, age 68 of White Oak, died October 11, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport. Born December 10, 1951, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of the late Walter and Marjorie (Glucs) Thir Robertson and the husband of Donna Thir.
Gary worked for UPMC Mercy in the Environmental Service Department. He enjoyed fishing in his free time.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jaime (Matt) Horensky of Munhall and Erin Thir of White Oak; grandchildren, Tyler and Emily; siblings, Claudia (Rich) Beerbower of Export, Debby (George) Thir of New Alexandria and Danette Thir of Irwin; and step father, John Robertson.

Moonis, age 70, of White Oak, died at home on October 11, 2020.  Born October 19, 1949, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Alice Mae (Polak) Burris and wife of the late Edward Moonis.  Alice worked at Baldock Health Care Center, now Transitions Health Care as a Nurse.  She loved to travel, especially on cruises.  A cruise was not complete unless it visited her favorite island in the Caribbean, Passion Island.  She loved to craft, and you could always find her creating something.

Mary Kritikos, age 96 of Versailles Boro died October 12, 2020 at Transitions Health Care. Born August 14, 1924 in Indiana Township, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Carmella (DePaula) Santone and the wife of the late James Kritikos.

Mary worked for US Steel and Christy Park Works in her early years. She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish. Mary was a former member of the Woman's Group Croatian Club #146 and the Friendship Club of McKeesport. She enjoyed chatting with her family and the residents in her apartment community and playing bingo. Her final wish was to tell her family how much she loved them.
