Vernon C. “Buzzie” Scott Jr., 63, of Penn Hills, died Friday August 5, 2016 at home. He was born January 23, 1953 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Vernon C. Sr. and Audrey L. (Harkins) Scott and was also preceded in death by siblings David Scott and Cynthia Johnson. He is survived by loving sisters and brother Susan J. Scott of Larimer, Rachel Smith of Franklin, and Jeffrey Scott and Karen Scott both of Chambersburg; his aunt Susan Smith of North Huntingdon; also many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda Ann (Morgan) Gynn, age 69, of North Versailles, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016. She was born May 12, 1947 in Braddock, the daughter of the Late Ralph W. and Marion R. (Lindsay) Morgan. She worked as a flight attendant for U.S. Air for over 25 years, and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Versailles. She was very proud of her Scottish Heritage.
