Richey W. Eberman, 89, of Westmoreland City, died Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born April 10, 1927 in Ardara, a son of the late William and Laura Pedder Eberman and was also preceded in death by a daughter Leslie Eberman and a brother Jack Eberman. He was a graduate of Norwin High School class of 1945, a Navy veteran of WWII, and was a retired employee of General Tire Co. in Jeannette. Richey was a professional trombone player and also played many other instruments.

He played in Swing Bands, and was a member of Trombino’s Music Club and S.P.A.R.K.S. of Life music group that entertained shut ins and other groups. He was also a member of V.F.W. Post 781. Surviving is his wife of over 68 years, Norma Bisogni Eberman; daughters Diane(Joe) Hiteshue of Raleigh, NC, Charmaine Martelli (Harry Ansell) of Dawson and Carol (Doug) Rosequist of Liberty Twp., OH; nine grandchildren Mollie (Paul) Carite, Kurt (Katherine) Hiteshue, Mindy Hiteshue, Joshua Skemp, Jared (Jenelle) Skemp, and Paulina, Maddie, Rachel and Valerie Rosequist; eleven great-grandchildren Ellie, Hannah, Seth, Diana, Bella, Maggie, Emma, Maddie, Wilson, Kaden and Coragan; also nieces and nephews. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a Blessing Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in Union Cemetery.
