Stephen A. “Steve” Zuger, age 82, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on March 4, 2022. Son of the late Stephen A. and Francis (Donhimer) Zuger, he was born in Pittsburgh, on January 14, 1940. He was a retired carpenter, a former member of the National Guard, and enjoyed fishing, especially at Canonsburg Lake, hunting, and going to flea markets. He is the brother of Gary (Julie) Zuger of Florida, Terry Zuger of Florida and late Judith Zuger Thome; 5 nephews; and beloved special friend, Lois. There is no visitation.

Frederick E. “Fred” Crisp Sr., age 83, of West Mifflin, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022. Born in Kentucky, on August 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Mitt and Gladys Crisp. He was retired from Iron Works Local #3-Pittsburgh, was a member of the AF&AM, Joppa Lodge and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the husband of the late Beverly (Leibold) Crisp; stepfather of Karen List of West Mifflin; father of Rebecca “Becky”, James “Jimbo” Crisp, Frederick “Fred” Crisp Jr., Paul David Crisp and late Michelle Crisp; several grandchildren; brother of John “Whitt” (Sharon) Crisp, Danny Crisp, late Delores “Dee”, late Pamela (husband, Bob, survives) Kozar. Mary P. Regina, in her 100th year, and, as life begins at conception, more than 100 years life on earth, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Albert Einstein Medical Center in Onley Park, Philadelphia. She was a 10 years massive stroke survivor, 9 years double breast cancer survivor, 2 years cardiac arrest survivor and multiple blood clots survivor. Mary was the recipient of many miracles during her health struggles but two stand out. Despite being wheelchair bound, from the Fall of 2015 to April of 2019, Mary was able to attend Holy Mass for 176 consecutive Sundays and, following hospitalization from a blood clot in 2015, in spite of her many health issues, she was able to avoid being hospitalized or needing a nursing home for 49 consecutive months, from March of 2015 to April of 2019. Both of these miracles were achieved by Mommy and Tommy, trusting in the Lord together. Born in Duquesne on March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (Voyak) Mracin. She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Holy Name Church where she was formerly a member of the choir and the bereavement group. She was the wife of late Stephen J. Regina Jr.; mother of late Stephen A. Regina, late Kenneth S. Regina, David T. Regina of West Mifflin, and Thomas (Tommy aka “EP”) Regina of Duquesne, beloved son and 10 years faithful sole caregiver, affectionately known as “Mommy and Tommy”-soulmates; sister of Katherine Schmidt of California, late Frank Mracin and late Carol Sabovik. David E. Holman, age 58, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on February 7, 2022, in San Diego, CA. Son of the late Dale Holman and late Penelope “Penny” (late David) Albee, he was born in San Diego, on August 1, 1963. Dave worked in construction. He is survived by Mary Graham, mother of their daughter Tiffany (Joe Yarborough) Holman of Duquesne. He is the brother of Dennis (Amy) Holman of Virginia and their children, Claire and Korinne Holman and Shelly Black of Virginia and her children, Todd (Hope) Black and Jerry Black; nephew of Martha “Marti” (late Bob) Gleason; and is also survived by cousins. Susanne H. “Sue” Evans, age 70, of Greensburg, passed away on February 19, 2022, at Excela Health-Greensburg. Born in Tyrone, PA on September 16, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Carlton and Mary Agnes (Grieble) Gillam. Sue was a retired nurse, having worked at Jefferson, Forbes and Mercy Hospitals and most recently as a home health care nurse. She was an excellent Slovak baker, especially her Russian torte and nut roll. She enjoyed pinochle, getting together with her Duquesne University friends and taking care of her St. Bernard, “Harry.” She is the mother of Jenna (Shawn) Magee of Mercer, PA, Gregory (Sarah) Evans of Murrysville, and Nick Evans of North Versailles; grandmother of Emma-Kate and Anna Magee and Teddy Evans; sister of Patrice (Mike) DelBaggio of Tyrone, Roberta (Dale) Woomer of Bald Eagle, PA, late Mary Beth (surviving spouse, Howard) Banks of Altoona, PA, late James (wife Lisa survives) Gillam of Tyrone and late Kathleen Gillam; Nieces and Nephews. Born in Braddock on December 24, 1948, he was the son of the late Martin and Elizabeth “Betty” (Sterner) Shields. Marty was the beloved husband of the late Diane (Arlet) Shields; father of Brandon M. Shields of Whitehall, Alyssa D. Shields of North Huntingdon, Amy (John) Arseneau of Reno, NV, and the late Jamie Greene; cherished grandfather of Noah, Emma, Liam, Connor, Ainsley and the late Madison Paige; brother of Leona (late Dwight) Miner of Valparaiso, IN, Darlene and Linda; and Summer Pendro, Godmother of his daughter, Alyssa. He was a retired truck driver from Motor Coils and New England Freight. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Norwin Christian Church. He worked in general maintenance at Fisher Body and was a member of Teutonia Mannerchor Club, Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during World War II. Peter is survived by his son, Brian Podunavac of Daytona, FL; grandchildren, Jesse and Jasmine; stepson, William (Gene) Cavins of Florida; two step grandchildren Dr. Zachary (Erica) Cavins and Suzannah (Nicholas) Seibert and 5 step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Robert Podunavac; and caregiver, Elaine Bixler of West Mifflin. He was Presbyterian by faith and he enjoyed Nascar, fishing, being outdoors and all sports. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 13 years. He was a tailor and dry cleaner and owned Sam’s Tailor Shop in Duquesne and Ritzland Cleaners in Penn Hills. He was a member of Chua Vien Quang Vietnamese Buddhist Temple, in Homestead. He liked to play the slots in Atlantic City and liked all Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers. He is the husband of Lan Thi Ngo of Duquesne; father of Kim Lee Ngo of Duquesne and Dan Minh Ngo of Irwin; and has 3 brothers and 2 sisters in Vietnam. There will be no visitation.
