Donna L. Steinkopf, age 82 of North Huntingdon, died May 28, 2025, at Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born February 23, 1943, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth Maraz Smith. Donna was a graduate of Duquesne High School Class of 1960. Over the years, she enjoyed going to lunch with the girls she graduated with. She was also a graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and worked for several years as a stylist. She enjoyed word searches and, politics. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and her fur babies, Bailey, Willow and Honey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Steinkopf in 2004., an infant daughter Stacy, a brother, Wilbur Smith, a sister, Phyllis Senato. She is survived by her beloved children, son Carl F. Steinkopf Jr., (Tina) a daughter Lisa A. Steinkopf, 4 grandchildren, Storm Steinkopf (Shelby), Kyle Steinkopf, Cassidy Palo (Nick) and Chance Steinkopf (Strykar ), 4 great grandchildren, Colton, Joey, Grace, Hallie, brother Dale Smith (Carolyn) brother-in-law, James Senato, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home Inc, Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon, on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with her longtime family friend, Poodie Carson officiating. Interment will be in Irwin Union Cemetery. Gloria H. Wolfe, age 80 of Irwin, Hempfield Township died May 28, 2025 at Excela Health, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 5, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Leo and Helen Lucas. Gloria was a member of the Middletown Fellowship Church. She was an animal lover, enjoyed bingo, scratch off tickets and gambling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Edward, Elmer, Leo Jr, Leonard and George Lucas. Dolores "Dee" Veychek, age 87 of North Huntingdon, passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1937 in Rankin, a daughter of the late Joseph Sullivan and Helen Barlas Sullivan. Dee was a graduate of Rankin High School in the Class of 1954, and a member of St. Agnes Church where she sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Dee was an artist, and she was an all-around animal lover. Most of all, she cherished her role as a homemaker and loved the time she spent with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leo Veychek. She is survived by two sons Michael Veychek (wife Susan), and Joseph Veychek (wife Sharon), three daughters Diane Tyger (husband Russell), Mary Fiume (husband Daniel), and Helen Holman (husband Robert), one brother Tom Sullivan (wife Nina), twelve grandchildren Ashley, Nicholas, Lauren, Brandon, Casey, Evan, Nicky, Emily, Abigail, Joshua, Alexis, Leah, and four great-grandchildren Olivia, Noah, Jacob, and Isaac. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Tuesday, May 27, from 4-7 PM. John Paul "Johnny" Haus, age 85 of Hahntown, North Huntingdon died May 9, 2025, at his home. He was born May 6, 1940, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John L. and Margaret Hartman Haus. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver by Consolidated Freight Way. After he retired, Johnny did house painting and electrical work. He was a member of the Italian Miners Society Club, the Wendell club, enjoyed NASCAR, gardening and loved his friends from Hahntown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother James Haus and a sister, Sue Ann Truitt. He is survived by one son, Tommy Haus and his wife LaDonne, two daughters Tracey Ray (Rodney), Laurie Plummer, his twin sister, Margaret (Sissy) Wachter and two additional sisters, Janis Gallagher and Linda Rupert (Ken), grandchildren Jacob Ray, Tommy and Steven Haus, Emily Haus-McCarthy, Allison Plummer, Ethan Plummer, great grandchildren, Austin, Caleb, Finnley, Eleanor, Victoria and Zeke. Sarah Jane Diecks Aubrey, 97, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025. She was born March 14,1928 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania and spent most of her life in the Greater Pittsburgh area. She married Alfred Aubrey on February
14, 1949. Together, they built a life and a family over the course of their 65 years of marriage before his death in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Gertrude Diecks; her siblings Ernest, Don, and LaRue; and her son-in-law, Robby King. Sarah is survived by her brother, Russell; three sons: Allan (Ruth), Rob (Theresa), and Rich (Sheri); four daughters: Jan Westfall (Marv), Nancy Miller (Carl), Laurie Steiner (Randy), and Christy King; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Throughout her years, she was an active member in numerous Christian Churches, serving as a teacher, choir director, and minister’s wife. She was frequently involved in Vacation Bible School, church camp, and other
ministries of the church. She loved to bake and specialized in apple pies and cookies. She was also an excellent seamstress. The family will be gathering for a private celebration of her life, and interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. John Philip Nemes, 72 of North Huntingdon died May 6, 2025 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born July 16,1952 in McKeesport. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bo and two sisters, Virgina and Suzanne. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machinist by St. George Crystal. John was a graduate of Norwin, Class of 1970. He enjoyed ceramics and his motorcycles. He is survived by his live in companion, Cynthia Whiting Nemes. Funeral services will be private.

Sandra L. Good, age 79 of North Huntingdon went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by family on May 1, 2025. She was born November 2, 1945 in Penn, Pa, a daughter of the late Louis and Stella Gross Bleggi. Sandra was devoted to her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald W. Good and a daughter in law Angie. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Good ( fiancée Mylissa), Douglas Good (Belinda), one daughter Dawn Eichelberger (Paul) with whom she resided for the last 19 years, Grandchildren, Shannon (Justin), Savannah, Brittany, Dakota, Zebulun (Emilie), Lydia , Malachi, Nathanael ( fiancée Tai'asia), Eliab, Isaiah, Abigail, Rebekah and three great grandchildren, Leah, Esther and Mathias, a sister, Diane, special cousin Jean (Tom), sister in law, Naomi, numerous nieces and nephews. Samuel K. Wood, age 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 26, 2025. A beloved parent, grandparent, brother, uncle, and friend, Sam will be remembered for a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. Born in Herminie, PA on August 15, 1947, Sam had a passion for the outdoors and a zest for life that was contagious. In his early years, he could often be found roller skating with friends & family as well competing in roller dance events with his partner and wife at the time, Ginny. He spent countless hours around trains, which fascinated him from an early age. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles on open roads and casting a line into his favorite fishing spots, simple pleasures that would remain lifelong passions. He was a dedicated Scoutmaster whose quiet strength, guidance, and unwavering commitment shaped generations of young lives, his legacy of service will live on in every Scout he mentored. As the years went on, he developed a deep love for camping at Big Bear Lake, WV where he spent most of his summers after his retirement with his wife, Dawn. He enjoyed many vacations to Myrtle Beach where he could be found metal detecting for hours, always on the lookout for the next hidden treasure or simply sitting on the balcony enjoying his gin & tonic and doodling
in his notebooks. He enjoyed many game nights with his dear friends who lovingly called themselves the B*tches. He was also a proud firearms enthusiast with a well-loved collection, appreciating both the history and craftsmanship of each piece. Above all, Sam cherished time with family. He created a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. His legacy will live on through the stories and the traditions passed
down through generations. Sam is survived by his cherished wife, Dawn Wolfram, adoring children Dyana Wood, Sarah Knight (Seth), his step-daughter Brandi Wolfram, his grandchildren, Ryan Schafer (Kayla), Madison Haley-Wood, Ashleigh Cornish, Lucius & Atticus Knight, his great-granddaughters Kambri and Kinley, his devoted sister, Melanie Wood, his favorite nieces Janine Pagano (Nic) and Jennifer Guncheon (Matt), his great-nephew Jonas and his fur niece, Izzy. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Edith Wood and his favorite cousin and best friend Gary Kish. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to physicians and especially his nurses Julia and Jenna, who provided compassionate care during his stay at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
