Bertha Montrose, 97, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home. She was born July 27, 1923 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Thomas and Angelina Grdanski. Bertha enjoyed listing to Polka music and sitting on her front porch watching all the wildlife in her yard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Montrose Sr.; brother, William Grdanski; and son-in-law, Kevin Shea.
She is survived by her sons, Murray Montrose Jr. and his wife, Susan, Rodney Montrose; daughters, Audrey Blazwich and her husband, Leslie, Patty Shea; brother, George Brletic; sisters, Helen Vallelunga, Bernice Marker, Charlotte Valeco; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Walter R. Wisniewski, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was born October 27, 1943 in Glassport, a son of the late John and Helen Wisniewski. Prior to his retirement, Walter was the owner/operator of Electral Tool & Die Co., a consultant with the Shaw Group and a member of St. Agnes Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was his grandchildren's #1 sports fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Miletti Wisniewski in March 2021. He is survived by his son, Jason Wisniewski; daughters, Christine Mayersky and her husband, Timothy, and Holly Wisniewski; brother, John Wisniewski; grandchildren, Ava Wisniewski, Justin Mayersky, Brandon Mayersky and Aaron Mayersky. Eugene Lewis Woods, 92, of North Versailles, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Point Pleasant Retirement Community. He was born April 13, 1928 in Swissvale, a son of the late Roy and Mabel Woods. Prior to his retirement, Eugene was an insurance adjustor for State Farm Insurance and was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy. Eugene was a 50 year member at Chartiers297 F. & A.M. Lodge In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Woods, second wife, Sheila Woods; sisters, Bette Hopta, Dorothy Salomon; and brother, Roy V. Woods. James Myers, 84, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at his home. He was born May 13, 1936 in Jeannette, a son of the late James F. and Lois (Raling) Myers. Prior to his retirement, Jim was a construction supervisor and a farmer which he did all his life. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of Westmoreland County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his loving wife, Aileen Altimore Myers; stepsons, Will and Sean Faulkner; brother, Barry Myers and his wife, Wanda; and several nieces and nephews. Cecelia "Cece" L. Page, age 79 of North Huntingdon passed away March 28, 2021. She was born September 22, 1941 in Meyersdale, Pa., daughter of the late Lynn L. "Jack" and Clara Murray Shultz. Cecelia was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary for the Norwin High School Guidance Department with over 20 years of service. She loved working with the students and cherished her time with the guidance crew. Cece enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting, orchestra and Norwin Band events. She was a member of the card club of Roberta Drive, and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

G. Scott McIntosh, 73, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. He was born February 6, 1948 in Brownsville, Pa., a son of the late Gilbert and Doreen (Sams) McIntosh. Prior to his retirement, Scott was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting skeet and clay pigeons. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed their trips to Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beth (Borgo) McIntosh. Pamela S. Van Ryn, 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born May 13, 1957 in Homestead, daughter of the late Robert and Gerri (McClintock) Thomas. Pam was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of 75 and a member of Norwin Christian Church. She was the best mom and grandma and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and loved sunflowers. Joan H. Walker, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her home. She was born January 15, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of Raymond W. and Agnes (Wakefield) Harris. Joan was employed by Norwin Veterinary Hospital and G. C. Murphy Co. Home Office in McKeesport. She was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church, previously Christ United Presbyterian Church, were she was an Elder, Deacon Sunday school teacher and secretary. She was past president of the Markvue Manor Woman's Club, past president of Friends of the Norwin Public Library Board of Directors, member of the Women of the Moose Irwin Chapter #171, North Huntingdon Civilian Police Academy and AARP #3221 North Huntingdon. She was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1959, an Elder and parish nurse at New Hope Presbyterian Church, manager of the I.V. Team Jefferson and McKeesport Hospitals, and president and past president of L.I.T.E - League of Intravenous Therapy Education.
She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and liked to bake and cook.
