Leah J. Pricener, 59, of Herminie, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born, October 11, 1961 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Thomas and Jo Anne (Layman) Hill.  Leah was a program manager for JB's Bright Beginnings Childcare Center and a member of The Potter's Church, New Stanton.  She enjoyed photography, collecting Polish pottery, decorating for the holidays, spring flowers and attending the fall festivals, especially Fort Ligonier Days.  Leah loved children and serving God and her church.  She is survived by her loving husband or 37 years, John S. Pricener; sons, Stanley and Zachary Pricener; brothers, Thomas III (Lynn), Glenn (Gay), Gregory (Debbie), Jonathan (Diana); sisters, Rebecca Hill, Beverly (Russ) Faust, Rachel (Raymond) Sapienza, Marjorie (Brian) Cooke, Claudia Rapp, Esther (Andrew) Pasedag; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Pete) Boyko, Mary Beth (Horacio Sam) Pricener-Uvalle; brother-in-law, Robert Genda; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Lee Anne Genda.  Family and friends will be received from 12-3 & 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Norwin Christian Church.  A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the church.  Interment to follow in West Newton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Potter's Church, P.O. Ronald W. Lose, 79, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born, June 15, 1942 in N. Braddock, a son of the late Walter and Wilma (Hillman) Lose. Prior to his retirement, Ron was a serviceman for Equitable Gas for nearly 50 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Greenland. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, bowling, playing pinochle, and as a younger man riding his motorcycle. He also looked forward to having breakfast with his fellow retirees from Equitable Gas from time to time. Ron was a loyal friend to many and the first to lend a kind hand to a stranger. He had an incredibly strong work ethic and was the perfect handyman at home.
He was deeply proud of his two daughters and his grandchildren and was happy to be recently blessed with a new great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Perri. He is survived by his wife, Lesley (Miller) Lose; daughters, Mareen O'Brien and her husband, Kevin, Lori Branthoover and her husband, Mike; sisters, Cheryl (Ray) George, Donna Lose; grandchildren, Kirstie, Bella, Christopher, Nicholas; and great-granddaughter, Juliette. Dolores J. Cancino, 88, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Riverside Nursing Center.  She was born January 29, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Tomovsick) Margie.  Prior to her retirement, Dolores was a cake decorator for Giant Eagle.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Topps.  She enjoyed crafting and clowning, making costumes, hats, gardening, baking cakes and making candy.  Dolores found great joy being around children and sharing in their laughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. David Cancino, brother, Edward Margie and sister, Irene Long.  She is survived by her son, D. Rick Cancino and his wife, Nancy; daughters, Paulette Myers and Diane Lavelle and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Benjamin Cancino, Aaron Myers, Rachel Myers, Carmen Davidson, Alex Lavelle; step grandchild, Chris; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Ayden; step great-grandchildren, Xavier, Haley, Caleb, A.J., Savana and Elsiabelle. Cynthia Louise Milchick, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  She was born March 15, 1949 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Louise (Cifranick) Milchick.  Cynthy was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and was a cosmetologist.  She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon where she was Director of R.C.I. A.,  a Eucharistic Minister, catechism teacher and taught Bible classes for many years.  Cynthy belonged to the Secular Carmelite Order of Latrobe of Jesus Mary and Joseph, given the Carmelite name, Cynthia of the Good Shepherd.  She was a devout Catholic who dedicated her life to God.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching movies.  She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth A. Milchick and his wife, Mary E. "Liz", Dennis R. Milchick and his wife, Shirley, Andrea McAfee, and Thomas A. Milchick; nephew, David (Danielle) Milchick; and niece, Tracey (Greg) Hartman.  Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Sipes, 84, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his home.  He was born July 2, 1937 in Slate Lick, PA, a son of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Claypool) Sipes.  Prior to his retirement, Ralph worked and retired from General Motors.  He was an active member of the Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf and enjoyed fishing and hunting.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, George and Stanley.  He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy (Stewart) Sipes; son, David Sipes and his wife, Tricia; brother, Ronald Sipes; sister, Sandra Valentine; grandchildren, Kolton and Kaylee.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Steven M. Miller, 61, of Pittsburgh, formerly of New Florence, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021.  He was born June 28, 1960 in Johnstown, a son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Monihen) Miller.  Prior to his retirement, Steven was a union carpenter for Local #432.  He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, hunting, camping, going to the beach and especially spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gregg McChesney.  He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Fleming and her husband, Mark, Libbie Kreuger and her husband, Ben; brother, Daniel (Debbie) Miller; sisters, Dawn Dupuis, Rebecca McChesney; grandchildren, Coleman and Kailey; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Braun P. Welsch, 91, formerly of North Huntingdon died August 18, 2021 at Brookdale Sr. Living Center. He was born August 10, 1930 in Turtle Creek a son of the late George and Matlida Breeger Welsch. Braun was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a supervisor by Verizon Central office. He was an avid outdoorsman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dale, two brothers, George Jr. and Robert C. Welsch. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty (Tietze) Welsch, his daughter, Roxanne Anson, daughter-in-law, Roberta Welsch, one granddaughter, Kristen (Scott), one great grandchild, Tyler, a nephew, Barry Welsch. Larry J.  Hoffman Sr., 63, of Larimer, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home.  He was born February 22, 1958, a son of the late Jesse and Hazel Triplett Hoffman.  Prior to his retirement, Larry was a surveyor for West Penn Power. He was a member of the American Eagles in Irwin, Larimer Firehall Social Club, played pool in various pool leagues. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Venzon Hoffman in 2020.  He is survived by his sons, Larry Jr (Jessica). and Christopher  (Dana); daughter, Haley Hoffman (Tommy) , a sister Hazel Hoffman, grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Amanda, Skylar, Serenity and Damian.  Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Monday at the James W. Allan B. Cook, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1936 in Munhall, Pa., a son of the late Albert and Anna (Slinchock) Cook.  Allan was a graduate of Duquesne University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Education and was a veteran of the US Army and Army National Guard.  Allan was a principal for the West Jefferson School District, a member of St. Agnes Parish and Knights of Columbus.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Cook and sister, Jean Mihailoff.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lucille (Martin) Cook; son, Paul Allan Cook and his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Eva Marie Cook; grandchildren, Nathan Cook and Brandon (Leah) Cook.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10  a.m. in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon.  Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.  Donations may be made to St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, PA or Wounded Warriors in memory of Allan.  Many thanks to Alane and her hospice nurses for the wonderful care they gave my husband.  Thanks to Annette and Linda for being wonderful caregivers. Petrocsko, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born May 27, 1932 in Duquesne, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Crush) Petrosko.  Peter was a graduate of North Huntingdon High School Class of 1950.  Prior to his retirement, Peter worked for Continental Can Company, was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics,  served in the US Air Force stationed in Iwo Jima and was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church.  He enjoyed talking about his experience in Iwo Jima, attending air shows, gardening, crossword puzzles, photography and taking family trips.

Linda J. Stokes, 73, of Penn Township, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2021 at Forbes Regional Hospital.  She was born August 8, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Mabel A. (Murphy) Smith.  Prior to her retirement, Linda was an estate administrative assistant for BNY Mellon and was a member of St. Barbara Parish, Harrison City. She was a volunteer at the church for "The Kentucky Project", enjoyed reading, traveling with her family, and was the secretary of Young At Heart.    She is survived by her husband,  James Stokes; daughters, Holly Gilligan and her fiance, Richard Beatty, Katy Danilko and her husband, Nick; grandchildren, Cara and Julianna Gilligan.
