Doris Mae Faust, 90, of Elizabeth Township, died Sunday March 19, 2017. She was born January 13, 1927 in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late George W. Detar, Sr., and the late Josephine (Foltz) Detar. She was the wife of the late Warren Elton Faust who died January 2, 2017. Doris was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. Doris was well known in the Mount Vernon area for her pies and ladylocks.

Louis W. Bauer, Jr., 78 of White Oak, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2017 surrounded by his children. He was born February 28, 1939 in McKeesport and was the son of Kathleen Nurse Bauer of North Huntingdon and the late Louis Bauer. He was the husband of the late Jane Louise Crawford Bauer. Louis was a USMC Veteran and was a star quarterback from 1958-60 at Hofstra University. He retired from the J.C. Penney Company. Daniel "Danny" Reese Williams, 70, of Greenock, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Danny's final days were spent surrounded by his family and close friends and listening to his favorite oldies and Gospel songs. Some of his more enjoyable days were spent sitting around a pot belly stove with his close buddies talking about backhoes, engines and old times. Danny also enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track car races, and Steeler's football, although he continually changed the TV channels.
