Clyde "Bud" DeWitt Keeler, Jr., 92, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born April 22, 1929 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth (Atwell) Keeler. He was the husband of the late Shirley Mae (Robb) Keeler. Bud retired from the former General Motors Fisher Body Plant in 1991 after 28 years of service and was also proprietor of the former Keeler Car Wash in McKeesport and was also a member of the Elks Club.

Jack F. Holsing, 87, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 7, 1934 in Greenock and was the son of the late Clyde F. and Alice (Morgenstern) Holsing. Jack was a graduate of McKeesport High School and was a US ARMY Veteran. He was a retired toolmaker for Excel Mold and Die. Jack was an avid reader, usually reading 50 + books a year, had a great sense of humor and also enjoyed fishing.

Denny was a self employed roofer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and enjoyed watching tv shows with his family and friends.  Denny had a friend pretty much anywhere he went and will be greatly missed.

Heaven gained a delightful new angel when Margaret Babyak Olek, 95, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was born on April 22,1926 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John Babyak and Margaret (Stecz) Babyak and the wife of the late John (Jack) J. Olek Jr. She is preceded in death by brother William J. (Bill) Babyak; She is survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Babyak of South Park, and brother E.J. “Al” (Freda) Babyak of Mechanicsburg. “Midge” met her husband Jack when they both worked at Duquesne Light and traveled into Pittsburgh together on the train. An active member of Mary, Mother of God, Corpus Christi Church, she was a Christian Mother and also a beloved teacher’s aide for special needs children in the McKeesport School District. Margaret also served as Secretary of the McKeesport Class of 1944 and spent many years planning reunions with her committee. In her senior years, she cherished frequent lunches with her dear friends "the church ladies." Always stylish, she was a true homemaker, and enjoyed entertaining, baking and comparing recipes. Her special “Chex mix” and “carrot cake” were family favorites. Margaret also had a passion for bird watching, gardening, polka music, playing cards and crossword puzzles.

Eileen was a Master Baker, and enjoyed decorating wedding cakes the most. She worked for many local bakeries, such as Scozio's Bakery and Patti's Pasticceria. Eileen lived in Berlin, Maryland for a short time and loved the ocean.

Patricia (Aranyos) Lyle and the late John C. Lyle After graduating from Slippery Rock University, where she was a beloved and fun member of Alpha Xi Delta, she moved to Albuquerque, NM. There, she impacted the lives of students and fellow educators during her decorated career at Albuquerque Public Schools and as the director of special education at Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School. While in Albuquerque, Trisha was a foster mom to her very special son Rob.  After moving back to Pittsburgh, she continued her fight at Hillman Cancer Center where she endured her treatments with her trademark grit, stubborn nature and sense of humor.

Patricia retired from Rite Aid and had previously worked at South Hills Health System, Sears, and the Bettis  Atomic Lab. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking, word searches, and having a glass of beer at the end of the day. Patricia was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan.
