Pastor Greg Thomas Smith, 69 of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was born April 1, 1953 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Richard and Marion (Morris) Smith. Greg was a Minister for the First Evangelical Free Church for many years. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee (Dawson) Smith of White Oak; sons, Jason P. (Stephanie) Smith of McKeesport, and Joshua J. (Engelina) Smith of Red Hill; daughter, Jessica R. (Caleb) Shultz of Forest Hills; and grandchildren, Adiella, Caulan, Murray, Yenika, Eliyah, Dietrich, Kierk, Kaden, Nouwen, Jael, and Tenley. Geraldine M. Bico, of White Oak, passed away September 22, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Michael Tkac and Agnes (Beluscak) Wilson. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner and operator of the former Crestview Manor Personal Care Home in Elizabeth. Geri had impeccable strength, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life.

Michael Allen Beck, Sr., 64 of McKeesport passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was born December 23, 1957 in McKeesport and was the son to the late William D. Beck, Sr., and the late Flora Belle (Livingston) Beck Ferguson. Michael worked for Laidlaw as a School Bus Driver for many years. He is survived by his son, Michael A. Melvin Calvin McClinton, Sr., 70 of Boston, Elizabeth Township, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at McKeesport Hospital with his beloved family by his side. He was born January 26, 1952 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and was the son to the late Edward and Gloria (Greene) McClinton. He was the third of five siblings. Melvin graduated from Elizabeth Forward Senior High School in 1970. He was employed by Clariton Mill as a Machine Operator for 34 years and retired in 2004. In his adult life he enjoyed riding his bike, watching sports, and most of all- fishing. Melvin was a talented athlete who ran track, played football, and was an impactful Little League Coach.

Naspinsky for over 40 years before he passed away in March of 2001. She was hardworking, loving, and devoted her time to taking care of her husband and the house before his passing. Ronald "Ron" Hornyak, 79, of Pittsburgh passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born March 5, 1943 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George and Virginia Jean (Billelter) Hornyak. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Clarke) Hornyak, who passed away February 11, 2015. Ron graduated from McKeesport High School and worked for Union Carbide as an Acetylene Generator Operator. where he retired from in 2005. He was an avid sports fan and athlete. Through the years, Ron coached multiple little league baseball teams, he was a part of multiple bowling and golfing leagues, he loved fishing, playing billiards and cards, and was a huge fan of all Pittsburgh Sports.

Joseph A. Miele, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 20, 1939 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Steven and Catherine (Angelini) Miele. Joe was a 1956 graduate of Westinghouse High School and went on to work for 32 years as a High Bay Crane Operator at US Steel Edgar Thompson Plant, where he retired from in 2002. He was baptized in 1971 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Trafford. Joe enjoyed working on many projects in his garage and always maintained spotless vehicles. He enjoyed talking to people about what he had learned from the bible and took great comfort in the promise of a future where pain and death will be no more. He will be greatly missed.

Gregory Michael Firda, 61 of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Lincoln Borough, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 now at rest after a great fight with cancer. He was born on March 10, 1961 in McKeesport. He was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish-St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township and was a 1979 graduate of St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Pleasant Hills. To many Greg was a true walking angel, and now will continue to be our angel in heaven to be reunited with his loving parents John Firda, and Agnes Bernadette (Behun) Firda. Greg is survived by his brother Jeffrey (Tammy) Firda of Lincoln Borough, nephew John Firda, nieces Alexis Firda and Avonlea (Blaine) Gergley, Ashley (Bradley) Domer who resembled to be his own daughter along with her children Bradley and Mateo who he deeply enjoyed the presence of till his last hours.
