Virginia Kay Moore, 77, of Elizabeth Township passed away Monday, March 27, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on November 3, 1945 and was the daughter to the late Rev. Kenneth Charles and Elizabeth Mae (Laird) Fordyce. She was an Elizabeth Forward High School Graduate and went on to obtain her Associates Degree at the Professional Business Institute in Minneapolis, MN. She worked many years as a phlebotomist for McKeesport Hospital; and she also was the proprietor of the Pet Boutique in Charleroi. A long time member of the Boston United Methodist Church and former member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Central Volunteer Fire Co, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward G. Moore; son, Edward Ray Moore of Elizabeth Township; daughter, Diane L. (Steve) Fine of Farmington, PA; and grandchildren, Tristan, Halley, and Oliver Moore. In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her two sons, Craig Kenneth Moore, who passed away September 14, 1972 and Owen James Moore, who passed away June 22, 2010.
