Charles George "Pappy" Fulmer, loving husband and father of two, passed away peacefully at home in White Oak on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the age of 83. Charles was born on September 15, 1938 in White Oak and is the son of the late Charles and Grace (Farmer) Fulmer. He was a graduate of McKeesport Area High School and began his career as a manager of a Cash and Carry in Delmont before serving as a manager for the Potter-McCune Company. He retired after 30 years but stayed busy working at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Elizabeth Township and Jordan Funeral Home in White Oak where his larger than life personality comforted so many. He eloped with his childhood sweetheart, Janet Dodds on September 7, 1957 and raised two daughters, Debi and Pam. Charles had many passions in life. Above all, was spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through various ministries including a children's clown ministry which impacted many young hearts. He loved woodworking and built fine furniture for his family's homes. A constant learner, in his later years, he spent hours tinkering with computers and computer software. He spent hours riding his bike and taking long walks with his wife and grandchildren on the Great Allegheny Passage. His selflessness and love heart inspired everyone he encountered. His dedication to his wife Janet, of almost 64 years, was a guide to many couples that they counseled together at Bridge City Church.
