He was born in McKeesport on March 13, 1964, to the late Bill and Jackie Faye Winters Mitchell. Wesley “Wes” Jay Dell, 63, of Elizabeth, formerly of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born to the late Phillip J. Dell and Beverly Jean Guffey Dell Leonard on December 21, 1961, in McKeesport. Wes graduated from Clairton High School class of 1981. Following graduation, he was a volunteer fireman for West Elizabeth Fire Hall. He also worked for 35 years at NAPA in Pleasant Hills. Wesley loved Pittsburgh sports teams but also loved Nascar. Wes loved to travel and enjoyed going to many events and enjoyed ghost hunting. He enjoyed listening to country music as well as rock music. He is survived by sister Andrea Hileman Tuttle of Dunbar brothers Brian Dell of Elizabeth, Shawn (Tammy) Dell of Jefferson, nieces Brittany, Teanna, Roseanna, Krystal, and Kimberly, nephew Steven Tyler Dell, sister-in-law Dwana Dell along with many great nieces and nephews. William H. Armstrong, Jr., 79, of Dravosburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2025 at his home. He was born in McKeesport on October 11, 1945, to the late William Sr. and Vivian I. Barkman Armstrong. He is survived by daughter Natalie J. Sanner of Dravosburg, nieces Niki (Tony) Schiffbauer and Noura, and nephew James. William was preceded in death by his sister Ellen Shumber. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, was a member of the Glassport American Legion, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Steelers, Pirates, and Pitt. Barbara “Barb” Ann Tognarini LaFollette, 85, of Clairton, formerly of Forward Twp., passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at her home. She was born in Elizabeth on April 2, 1939, to the late George Sr. and Anna Kereczman Tognarini. Barbara was the loving wife of 65 years to the late Jesse Donald LaFollette. Rodney D. Stokes, 70, of Monroeville, formerly of Glassport, passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at his home. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Wilburn and Margie Rhodes Stokes. Rodney was the loving husband of 46 years to the late Peggy Ann Lightfoot Stokes. He is survived by his daughter Paige (Kevin) Strasbaugh of Churchill, sister Phyllis (Jim) Berwick of Texas, and grandchild Elliot Strasbaugh, as well as nieces. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Rodney was preceded in death by his son Ryan B. Stokes, brother Ronald Stokes, and several beloved pets. He was a member of the Dravosburg Masonic Lodge #714. Rodney enjoyed riding motorcycles, tending to his garden, and traveling. He also adored being a grandfather. Dominic “Sonny” Yeager, Sr. 54 of Glassport, PA passed away on December 5th, 2024 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on March 31st, 1970 to the late Dominic and Mathilda Coddington Yeager. He was the loving husband of 26 years to Marie (Swineburg) Yeager. In addition to his beloved wife, Dominic is further survived by children Ashley Yeager of New Kensington, Robert Swineburg of Glassport, Christine (Katelyn) Yeager of Bristol TN, and Dominic Yeager Jr. of Glassport, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and 3 grandchildren as well as his loving pets Beach and Luna. In addition to his parents, Dominic was preceded in death by his sisters Lois McBride, Paulette Yeager Ferally, and Nikki Ferree. He worked at Consumer Fresh in the Strip District for 6 years. Dominic loved to spend time with his family, crack jokes, taking his motorcycle out for a ride, and he was always willing to help his family. He drove tractor trailer all over for roughly 30 years. Daniel Kunf, age 89 of Glassport, PA, passed away at Grandview Estates on December 10, 2024. He was born in Liberty Borough, the youngest and last surviving of 9 children born to Anton and Anna (Paunovic) Kunf. Dan was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and worked as a bricklayer before serving in the public works department of Glassport Borough. He was a member of the Glassport American Legion and the Pymatuning Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed watching Pittsburgh sports, listening to polka music, spending time at Pymatuning Lake, hunting and fishing.
Dan was preceded in death in 2008 by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Elaine (Hart) Kunf. He is survived by his children Jean (John) Warren, Janis Detman, Dan Jr. “DJ” (Donna) Kunf, Tom (Lee Ann) Kunf, and Cheryl (Nick) Sorrentino; and 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister-in-law Sally Kunf, and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

James “Jim” Janosko, 78, of Dravosburg, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at his home. He was born in Homestead on April 30, 1946, to the late Michael J. and Margaret T. Majovsky Janosko. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Francine Yoannone Janosko of Dravosburg, daughters Adrienne (Kenneth) Koncerak of North Huntington, Lisa (Richard) Matt of Natrona Heights, brother Michael G. Janosko of Homestead Boro, grandchildren Cecilia, George and Alana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Janosko. He was a member of the Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, and he enjoyed helping with the food bank and church festivals. James worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years, he loved spending time with his family, gardening, loved watching Pittsburgh Penguins hockey listening to Steelers games, and watching old westerns. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S Lewis and Clark SSBN #644 and was awarded the National Defense Medal, First Award.
