EUGENE N. "GENE" COSTEL age 80, of West Mifflin, on February 16, 2017. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Irene (Ondik) Costel. He was a retired high school math teacher from the Steel Valley School District retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, their Men's Club and volunteered at church fish fry dinners. He was an avid bowler and an avid golfer, and had a hole-in-one at Butler's Golf Course. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War and retired from the US Naval Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer Four with 30 years service. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion and he was a graduate of California State College. Beloved husband of 53 years to Agnes "Aggie" (Ribar) Costel; father of Gary (Melisa) Costel of Butler and Daniel Costel of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Andrew, Michael and Timmy Costel; brother of Marcella (late Buddy Petruska and late Chuck) Jaskulski of West Mifflin, Patty (Terry) Bernd of Monroeville; also nieces and nephews. Visitation on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Gene's family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the staff of the fifth floor at Jefferson Hospital and their Hospice Program, especially Greg.

Jefferson H. (Jeff) Miller of Waterloo passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, February 16, 2017. The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born February 14, 1952 at home, a son of the late Foster and Emogene Malone Miller. He is leaving behind his loving wife of 21 years, Karen Vogt Miller and his best girl Abbi.

Patricia M. "Patty" Moss, age 63 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Born December 19, 1953 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Sylvia (Cegelski) Skibinski, and loving wife of the late John S. Moss. Patty was the Vice President and Manager for PNC Bank in McKeesport for 33 years, where she was a friendly and familiar face to all of those in the community. In her free time, she enjoyed taking trips to the casino, going to craft shows, playing bingo and visiting Deep Creek Lake. Most importantly, she loved the time that was spent with her children and grandchildren. She had a special way of making memories with her family that will always be cherished. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly "Bev" (Shawn) Patterson of Bethel Park and Melissa "Missy" (Ryan) Pokorny of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Ryan Rae, Jacob John, Logan Alexander, Olivia "Livi" Paige and Alexis "Lexi" Noelle; siblings, Carol (Robert) Lovas, Donna (Charles) Elyes and Michael Skibinski; mother-in-law, Helen (the late Samuel) Moss; her beloved fur-grandbaby, Nittany; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Leonard E. "Lenny" Zielinski, 64, of Versailles, formerly of Port Vue, died Monday February 13, 2017. He was born September 25, 1952 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Leonard E. Zielinski, Sr., and the late Evelyn Sopko Zielinski. Lenny worked at the former US Steel National Tube Works as an inspector for 12 years and also worked for Highview in maintainence for 24 years. Lenny was a H.A.M. Radio operator, enjoyed photography and was also the family comedian. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Della Boyer Zielinski, brothers, Mike (Sandy) Zielinski of Carnegie, and Dan (Marge) Zielinski of Eighty Four, sister, Mae (Bob) Magdic of Fredericktown, sister-in-law, Jacqueline Shah of Buena Vista, nieces, Jacklynn and Sarah, and nephews, David, Andrew, Levi, Jacob, James, and Nicholas.
