Salvatore Daniel Trovato, Sr., 79, of North Huntingdon, went to be with The Lord on Saturday June 10, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 30, 1938 in Braddock, and was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Trifari Trovato. He is survived by his wife, Leona Kropczynski Trovato, sons, Daniel (Michele) Trovato of Liberty Borough, and Salvatore D. (Vonda) Trovato, Jr., and John (Patricia) Trovato of North Huntingdon, brothers, Joseph (Linda) Trovato of Sun City, AZ, and Anthony (Jean) Trovato, Jr., of Maryland, grandchildren, Karyn (Derrick) Pope and Michael Trovato, great-grandchildren, Alayna Polachko and Devyn Pope, nieces and nephews.

She was born August 9, 1926 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Daniel and Hallie Seneff Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Amil and her son Daniel. LaVerne Elaine Redenbaugh, age 77, of McKeesport, formerly of Port Vue, died June 11, 2017, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born September 8, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry Howard and Dorothy Marie (Bedell) Serena and the wife of the late Charles Orvel Redenbaugh. LaVerne worked as a pre-school teacher for over 15 years. She truly dedicated her life to caring for all children. In her early years, she was a Girl Scout and a Cub Scout Leader, where she especially enjoyed the camping trips with the children. She was a member of the former Riverview Baptist Church, where she was also the Sunday School Director. LaVerne was also on her Highschool Reunion Committee.
She is survived by her children, Charles Allen (Kim) Redenbaugh of Monroeville, Terry Lee (Tabitha) Redenbaugh of Rostraver, Debbie Allene (Jeffrey) Brewer of Elizabeth and Shonna Lynne (David) Michaliszyn of Elizabeth Twp.; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Harry Howard (Philomena) Serena, III of Niles, OH; step-brother, Allen Ray Helmick of Littleton, CO; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, LaVerne was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Allene Johnson Helmick Serena.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Ronald A. Banks, Jr., age 49, of McKeesport, died June 4, 2017 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, OH. Born June 8, 1967 in McKeesport, he was the son of Lois (Downie) and the late Ronald A. Banks, Sr. He was a former bagpiper with the Macdonald Pipe Band, a member of the Clairton Sportsman Club and the Tau Phi Delta Fraternity at Penn State. Ronald was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters, Josie and Mattie Banks, brother, Dan (Lynn) Banks; niece, Megan Banks; nephew, Jared Banks, and ex-wife and great friend Julie Warf Banks. Regis T. Kollar, 82, of Herminie, died Tuesday June 6, 2017. He was born November 22, 1934 in East Pittsburgh, a son of the late Thomas and Martha (Rudy) Kollar and was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Ann (Uderman) Kollar in October 2016 and his grandson Jaicob Kollar. Regis was a graduate of Duquesne University and retired sales manager for Tile City, North Huntingdon and Greensburg stores. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon where he served as an altar server. Regis and Mary Ann raised their family in North Huntingdon and then spent their last few years in Wilmington, NC, where they had a place at the beach.

Helen Obrosky, 98, of Duquesne, died June 7, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Rakowska) Wozniak. Wife of the late David Obrosky. Helen is survived by her daughter Janice Girovsky of McKeesport; son Larry (Elizabeth) Obrosky of West Mifflin; grandchildren Jennifer (Jim) McCalla of West Mifflin and Paul Obrosky of West Mifflin and great granddaughter Ashley McCalla. She was a member of St. Hedwig. Church. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Mon. from 10:00 to 11:00 am at which time a blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowsky. Interment will be private. The family would like to sincerely thank Three Rivers Hospice for all their kindness and care they gave to Helen, especially Ashley, Elysha and Julie.
