Marvin Harry Holsing, 81, of Greenock, passed away at home on Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born May 24, 1937 in Greenock and was the son of the late Harry William Holsing and the late Violet (Dick) Holsing Nelson. Marvin was retired from the former G.C. Murphy Co. home office in McKeesport. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Beyer) Holsing, daughter, Linda S. (Fiancée, Mark Arnold) of Greenock, sons, William Holsing of Port Vue and John (JoAnn) Holsing of Elizabeth Township, sister, Beverly Joy (Paul "Skip") Hunter of Greenock, grandchildren, Corey (Angela), Jordyn (Corey), Julia (Dan) , Josie, Amber and Jeremy, niece, Faith (Kenneth) Lasica, and nephew, Paul Hunter. She was born May 26, 1935 in McKeesport the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Waladjia. She was the wife of the late Lloyd D. Geissler. Mary is survived by neices and nephews. Ilene D. Smerkol, 64, of White Oak died Thursday November 8, 2018. She was the daughter of the late William and Anna Fay (Faust) Horvath. She is survived by her beloved husband David Smerkol; daughter Beverly Smerkol; son James (Connie) Mattox; grandchildren Olivia, Grant, and Wyatt; sisters Carol (Gary) Hospodar and Janet (Walter) Dupier; brother William (Millie) Horvath; and many nieces and nephews. Ilene was a claims clerk at K-mart for over 35 years and was a member of Praise Assembly Church. A private family visitation will be held. Family and friends are invited to the interment Wednesday 11am at St. Mary’s Polish Cemetery, White Oak.

Bette J. Hoffman, 93, of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at home. She was born February 23, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Albert and Irma Csah Borsi. She was the wife of the late Russell W. Hoffman, who died August 2, 1983. Bette was a graduate of the McKeesport Hospital Nursing Class of 1946 and was an honorary member of the Nurses Alumni Association, as well as The Army Nurses Cadet Corps during World War II . She was also a member of the William Penn Association. She leaves behind several very dear friends.

Elizabeth M. Lee, age 97 of McKeesport, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. She was born July 30, 1921 in McKeesport, the daughter of the late John and Mary Golya Robb and the wife of the late William White and the late George Lee. She was an expert at knitting and won many awards over the years, she volunteered at McKeesport Hospital, was employed at McKeesport City Hall and loved being around children of all ages. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Wedge of Bethel Park; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, James White; and 11 siblings. Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 410 Sixth Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132, with Fr. Donald Voss officiating.

He was a licensed Inspection/Emissions Technician at Steel City Auto in McKeesport. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on his Trans Am and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was passionate about driving his 18 wheeler, which allowed him to travel and see the country. He had a heart of gold and often helped anyone in need.

Connie Misavage, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Point Pleasant Retirement Community. She was born October 10, 1929 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Luciano and Clementina (Trovarelli) DiAntonio. Prior to her retirement, Connie was a draftsman for Westinghouse and was a member of St. Agnes Church. After retirement, she taught guitar lessons to young adults in North Huntingdon and later moved to Florida in 1981 and was an avid tennis player and belonged to several tennis leagues. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Misavage; brothers, Americo and Gustine DiAntonio. She is survived by her son, Eric Misavage and his wife, Sylvia; daughters, Lisa Findlay, Susan Misavage and her husband, Robert Jasinski, Kristina Laney and her husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Nicholas Laney, Lauren (Bryan) Worsham, Nathan Findlay, Alex Findlay, Trista Laney, Erin Findlay; and six great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon with Msgr. Paul Fitzmaurice officiating.
