Liparulo, at their home in North Huntingdon, PA. Along with her husband, she is survived by her loving son and his wife, Matthew Liparulo and Cristina Paradelo of Connecticut; and her adoring daughter and her husband, Karen Liparulo Chasnis and Benjamin C. Chasnis of North Carolina. Anne delighted in being “Nana” to Kennedy Chasnis, Reese Chasnis, Regina Anne Liparulo and Avril Anne Chasnis.
Anne’s parents were John W. Hughes and Ruth Manning Hughes of Washington, Pa. She graduated from Penn State University with a BA in Anthropology in 1970. Shortly after, she graduated with a MS in Library Science from The University of Pittsburgh, where she met her husband. She retired from Bettis Atomic Power Lab in West Mifflin, PA, as Library Manager. Later in life, her granddaughters became her greatest joys. She taught them to value family and to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Her physical presence will be missed, but her legacy of love will remain in our hearts.
