Alfred Pasek, 84, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born May 17, 1935 in Brzeziny, Poland and was the son of the late Jan and Mary (Pacocha) Pasek. Alfred was President of Pasek Project Management Services and was a retired Mechanical Engineer and Consultant. He had worked for US Steel, Dravo, and Schneider. He was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township and the Jaycees. He received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Polytechnic of Krakow and served in the US Army Reserves. Alfred enjoyed golf,  especially at the Youghiogheny Country Club where he was a member and Butler's Golf Course where he was a Ranger. He achieved a "Hole in One" at Clipper Shipyard Golf Course on Hilton Head Island, Hole # 4 on February 27, 1997. He was also a USGA Golf Course Rater. Alfred was very proud of his Polish heritage. His favorite way to share his heritage and love of having a good time with friends and family was to share a toast of "Sto Lat ! " which means to enjoy good life, good health, and 100 years of happiness.

He was born November 8, 1928 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John A. and Mildred (Monath) Ryan.  He was the husband of the late Thelma Fay (Van Kirk) Ryan who passed away in 1976. John was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War  and worked in financial services for many years. He was very proud of three things he got to do in life, owning a Model T and being part of the Model T Club in Dallas, taking flying lessons and flying out of Rostraver Airport, and his vast Civil War Membrobillia Collection.

He was also a member of Duquesne-McKeesport F & AM Lodge 731 and the National Ski Patrol. Dale was Director of the former McKeesport Choraliers Chorus. He was a retired Director of Operations for Intercity Motor Freight and had previously taught school and worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co.

She also taught 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School and was on the Church Building Committee there. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Silver Slippers, the Saints and Sinners Bowling League, and was a volunteer worker at International Village. She was an avid reader, crafter and great baker. She was a secretary at the former Westinghouse Headquarters in Wilmerding.
