Corrine Louise Gilbert, 95, of Greensburg, formerly of Blairsville died peacefully, Wednesday October 28, 2020 at Westmoreland Manor. She was born  September 9,1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Wilson T. & Anna Gilbert. Corrine had worked at Sabin China and then at sewing factories in Blairsville and the state of California. She was very talented making crafts and crocheting. She made many beautiful things that her family will cherish for years to come.

Carmella R. Picone,  91, of Liberty Boro, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020. She was born September 4, 1929 in Coraopolis and was the daughter of the late Clemente and Pauline (Cordi) DiGiandomenico. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Picone. Carmella attended St. Michael Parish - St. Mark Church in Liberty Boro. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Nicholas) Ivkovich of Liberty Boro, and Darlene (Michael) Province of Parma, OH, son, Samuel Picone of Liberty, grandchildren, Kristi (Charles) McCutcheon, Dana (Jason) Seyerle and Samantha Picone, great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Nicholas, Nina, Heaven, and Khyla, brothers, Joseph (Mary) DiGiandomenico and Guido (Lena) DiGiandomenico, sisters, Yolanda Zimage, Mary (Ed) Wisnesky, Josephine (Vincent) Lucci and Ana (Anthony) Lucci, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Victor and James DiGiandomenico, and sister, Phyliss DiVecchio. Ronald James Egenlauf, Jr., 38, of Glassport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 24, 2020 . He was born June 1, 1982 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Ronald James Egenlauf, Sr.  and LaVerne V. (Chisco) Egenlauf of Glassport.  Ron was a cook and certified trainer at Buffalo Wild Wings, West Mifflin. Ron loved his wife and children and enjoyed hosting family get-togethers. He was an avid and life long Steelers fan, and bled black and gold. He also enjoyed fishing, barbeques and loved being surrounded by friends and family.

Doris May Larson, 85, of Versailles, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2020. She was born May 22, 1935 in Cochranton, and was the daughter of the late William Harry and Ann (Caldwell) Wecas. She was the wife of the late William Howard Larson, Sr., who passed away September 29, 2018. Doris began her career as a school teacher. She later worked for West Virginia University and the US Steel Clark Lab. She was a graduate of Thiel College and Carnegie Mellon University. She is survived by her son, William H. (Cheryl) Larson, Jr., of Versailles, daughters, Amy S. Larson of Lititz and Bess Ann (Thomas) Beaty of Cary, NC, sister, Grace Peterson of Cochranton,  grandchildren, Sarah Lynn (Andy) Krut and Elizabeth Ann Larson, great-grandson, Sullivan Krut and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie, Harold "Raine", and Howard Kaufold, a sister, Ann Kaufold and step-sister, Myra Wecas . Friends are welcome Friday, October 30, 2020 from 9-11:30 am at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township.  Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Friday at 11:30 am. Charles "Chas" Emory Casturo, 81, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. He was born May 24, 1939 in Boston and was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Barno) Casturo. He was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church and McKeesport Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of F & AM Duquesne McKeesport Lodge and was a member and past president of the McKeesport Lions Club. Chas was a retired entrepreneur who started multiple businesses over the years including multiple service stations, Casturo Trucking and Salvage and Tri-C-Co. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail Ann (Crawford) Casturo, sons, Charles C. (Tina) Casturo of Elizabeth Township, Scott (Karen) Casturo of North Canton, OH, and Robert (Tracy) Casturo of Forward Township, brother, Donald J. (Judy) Casturo of Pittsburgh, sister, Marlene (Herb) Campbell of Sherman, TX, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and nephews, Don (Tiffany) Casturo and Chris (Heather) Casturo. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Casturo. Russell Edward Carlson, 81, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. He was born November 4, 1938 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Edward A. and Dorothy (Littlewood) Carlson. He was the husband of the late Sally (Morris) Carlson who passed away November 7, 2004. Russell was a manager at the former K-Mart in Belle Vernon and was a US Army Veteran. He had a passion and love for the game of golf. He is survived by his daughters, Paula Lynn Carlson of Rostraver and Lynn Ann (Nicholas Damis) Carlson of Steubenville, OH,  and son, Brad E. Carlson of Elizabeth Township.  He was preceded in death by faithful dog, Breeze. There is no visitation. Private graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township. Kirk was a Truck Driver for Waste Management and was a member of Teamsters Local 249. He was also a member of the former Boston Vol. Fire Co., and Versailles Vol. Fire Co. Kirk enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle and lawn tractor.

She was born March 1, 1928 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles and Christine (Freund) Haeckler. She was the wife of the late Andrew "Andy" Zobel who passed away May 13, 2020. In 1944 at age 16, Regina worked for the G. C. Murphy Co. Store # 1 in McKeesport as a Soda Fountain Girl. She graduated from McKeesport High School in 1946 and continued with Murphy's until 1963. She went back to Murphy's in 1978 and continued there until her retirement in 1988. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, dancing, pie baking and playing cards with her neighborhood card club.

Darrell M.  Remp, 73, of Port Vue, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at home.  He was born November 25, 1946 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Ernest S. and Julia (Barich) Remp.  Darrell was a member of Mary Mother of God- St. Patrick worship site and a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, where  he and his wife Janice, were married.  Family meant everything to Darrell.  He loved vacationing to the beach with his family , doing yard work and gardening with his grandson Zak and basketball with his granddaughter, Lyla. He was a Blues Brothers impersonator with the late Rick Lieberum and was also known for keeping the groundhogs out of his yard.
