Marie G. Cecchini, 93, of Greenock, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born June 9, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen J. (Jobe) Carney.  Marie was the wife of the late Emidio G. Cecchini, who passed away January 11, 1978. She was a longtime member of Mary, Mother of God, Corpus Christi Site. She was active in politics her whole life and was a committee woman for McKeesport for several years.  She worked as a magistrate secretary in McKeesport office for 25 years, was an avid bingo player and loved the casino.  Marie loved to go out to eat, go dancing and listening to music, her favorite songs were "All Night Long" by Lionel Ritchie and "In The Mood" by Glen Miller.

She was born September 19, 1940 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Gwosden) Sucha.  She was the wife of 62 years to the late Milan Samuel Washowich, who passed away August 26, 2020.   Nancy was a former member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. She was a member and past treasurer of the Port Vue Seniors and a poll watcher for Port Vue for elections. She was an avid bingo player, an excellent cook and loved to play cards and board games with her grandchildren and also attend their baseball and softball games.

He loved to play cards, was an avid gardener and was an excellent baker, known as "The Mile High Pie Guy". He loved playing hot wheels with his beloved grandson Owen and was a cornhole champion.

Kaye was a retired teacher and had taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Meadow Moor Elementary School in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 30 years.

Shirley A. Weitzel, 91, of Indian Lake, passed away January 8, 2021 after a short, fierce battle with Covid-19 at Laurel View Village. She was born December 19, 1929 in Ridley Park and was the daughter of the late Jack and Helen (Thompson) Alexander. She was the wife of 53 years to the late Robert D. Weitzel, Jr. Shirley was raised in Ridley Park, Delaware County and graduated from West Chester State College. She taught elementary school, primarily, History and Science, for 5th grade for 30 years. After she was chosen to work in the classroom with the Bicentennial Project of 1776, she became the author of Land O'Goshen, a historical novel, a Tale of Chester County and dedicated it to all of the boys and girls of Chester county, most especially to her children, Patty, Emily and Andrew. Shirley and her husband retired to Indian Lake in 1990 and loved their lake life, including much gardening, bird watching, traveling and community service, just as much as they loved their grandchildren and many beloved pets.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Alvin Klein. Burt was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was the co-owner of the former Vienna Bakery in McKeesport, and was later employed in the Marketing Dept. of Equitable Resources in Pittsburgh. Burt was a former member of Tree of Life Sfard and was a WWII Army Veteran.

(Deana) Colvin of Jeannette, sister, Pauline Machek of Texas and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Machek, Mary Gajdzik, Margaret Korenoski, Julie Drost, Bette Vojovich, and  Ann Kerceman, and brothers, George, John and Michael Boris.
