Jill H. Graham, 58, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was born March 5, 1964 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Albert R. and Helen A. (Pryzby) Graham. Jill was the owner and operator of Mr. T-Shirt, where she had a special talent of screen printing. She also worked in gun manufacturing at Lesleh Precison Inc. in Rostraver. She was a hard worker and an accomplished artist. She always excelled in athletics and was given a scholarship in college for basketball. She was also avid golf player, and guitar player. Jill had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed and was loved by many.

Louis G. "Geno" Zecchini, 102, of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born June 27, 1920 in Herminie and was the son of the late Giuseppe "Joseph" and Mary (Venturelli) Zecchini. He was the husband of the late Florence (Swonger) Zecchini who died May 27, 2003. They were married December 6, 1939. Geno was retired from the former US Steel National Tube Works and was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII. For his service, he received the Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon and the WWII Victory Medal.

Patricia L. "Pat" Klement, 81, of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was born September 20, 1941 in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Louise (Bartholomai) Bosetti. Pat was a dedicated housewife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. In her spare time, Pat worked as a Floral Designer for Johnston the Florist. When she was younger, she originally was a member of St. Stephens Church, but as time changed, she became a member at St. Angela Merici, where eventually her and her husband, Ernest, renewed their vows. She enjoyed working in the yard and used every excuse to break out the power washer. She loved building puzzles, and playing cards with friends.

Elizabeth Pellasce, 98, of McKeesport, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born December 12, 1923 in Pheonixville, PA and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ethel (Gazdag) Papp. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Pellasce, who passed away July 4, 1997. Elizabeth was a member and attended the Hungarian Reformed Church in McKeesport for a long time. She is survived by her nieces, Coleen Pattakos, and Linda (John) Horvath; and nephews, Bennett Berkowitz, and Robert Nystrom. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Ethel Berkowitz, Gazella Helms, and Margaret Wright; and her niece, Judith Nystrom. Michael "Richard" Pavlovic, 82, of McKeesport, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born October 31, 1940 in McKeesport and was the son of the Late Michael J. and Stephanie (Puc) Pavlovic. Richard was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. He was the proprietor of the Columbia Bar and Grill in McKeesport. He was a member and past president of the Mon Valley Sportsman's Club and was also a retired Security Guard for the McKeesport Area School District. Richard was a member and past Exalted Ruler of the McKeesport Elks and coached Little Tigers Football and Baseball. He loved his children, grandchildren, sports, and watching TV. He was affectionately known as "Mr. Pav" or "Serb".

Patricia L. "Pat" Morrison, 87, of White Oak, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born July 5, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter to the late Thomas H. and Nellie M. (Potter) Spence. She attended McKeesport High School and played the Clarinet in the band. She was the wife to the late George C. Morrison III, who passed away on September 24, 2008. Pat and George were High School sweethearts and got married February 8, 1955; they were married 53 years before his passing. Patricia was a dedicated housewife, loving mother, grandmother, an avid reader, and loved all types of animals. She worked for the Mon-Yough Mental Health Institute as a Social Worker but then spent her later years as the Receptionist for the White Oak Veterinary Clinic, and adopted many animals through the years.

Rita G. (Short) McPoland, 95, of White Oak, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter at her side on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born June 20, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Petronick) Short. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late Arthur P. McPoland, who passed away January 29, 1995. Rita worked as a flight attendant in her younger years and then went on to become the owner and operator of the former Bob and Dot’s Tavern in McKeesport for over 25 years. She had a fiery personality and was known for always being stylish and beautiful. She was a fierce advocate for her daughter. She was a member of the former St. Peter’s Catholic Church in McKeesport, and was heavily involved with her daughter in the Evangel Productions with Father Tom Smith and was a proud member of Twinkling Tapping Tootsies. She will be greatly missed.

Marie O. Ludwick, 76, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. Marie graduated from West Mifflin North and was a long time member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in McKeesport. Marie loved her many trips to the casino with friends, but also looked forward to the family vacations to the beach each year; especially Ocean City, MD. She was an incredible, loving mom, while over the years took great pride in being a Grandma too.

Patricia Anne "Pat" Brinkos, 78, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1944 in Davenport, IA and was daughter to the late Paul F. and Maxine M. (Griffiths) Brennan. She is also preceded in death by her dear sister, Jane M. Brennan. Pat was a 1962 graduate of McKeesport High School, where she met the love of her life, her husband Bruce Brinkos, who survives her. Theirs was a long, rich and supportive marriage, filled with love, laughter and devotion.

Eleanor A. Powell, 84, of Buena Vista, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. She was born November 20, 1937 in Finleyville and was the daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (Howard) Smith. She was the wife of the late Frederick Powell, Jr., who passed away July 4, 1984. Eleanor worked many jobs throughout her life, but her biggest accomplishment was raising seven children. Prior to retirement, she worked for Buena Vista Post Office as a Clerk.

Steven Prontiker, 82, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022. He was born July 26, 1940 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Kish) Prontiker. He was the husband of the late Susan Marie (Edkins) Prontiker, who passed away November 30, 2012. Steven was a US Army Veteran and worked as a Boilermaker for the former US Steel Homestead Works and then was a millwright for the former Fisher Body Auto Works. He was a longtime Elizabeth Township resident and a devoted family man. He also enjoyed walking on The Youghiogheny River Trail in Buena Vista. He is survived by his children, Amy Ortiz, Beth Prontiker, Scott (fiancée, Mary) Prontiker and Sue (Bill) Morrow; grandchildren, Desiree, Jordan, Enrique, Denim, Katie, Jake, Stevie, Scotty (Angelina), Samantha and Jack; sister, Mary Ann Prontiker; and brother, William "Bill" (Denise) Prontiker. He was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Prontiker, Frances Kerr, Margaret Prontiker, Patricia Reitz and Mike (the late Lorraine) Prontiker and John Prontiker. Wayne Henry Nelson, 86, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. He was born July 11, 1936 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John Henry and Florence (Wallace) Nelson. Wayne served in the US Army as a Tank Driver from 1959 - 1962 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a Steel Worker for Irvin Works for many years leading up to retirement. He avid fisherman and hunter with his long time friend, John Laska and other friends. Wayne and his wife enjoyed "glamping" for the past 40+ years.
