Dolores Jean Goga, 87, of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Kane Regional Center in Scott Twp. She was born June 7, 1935 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Mamrak) Kepich. She was the wife of the late Raymond George Goga, who passed away August 29, 1977. Dolores graduated from McKeesport High School in 1953. She worked at Balsamo's and the memorial theatre in McKeesport during high school. After graduation she worked at Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding. Later, she also worked briefly as a caregiver and then in the purchasing department of Allegheny County. Dolores loved being a homemaker and took pride in her home, she loved having her grandchildren come to visit and enjoyed taking them on day trips when they were young. Christmas baking was another favorite activity; in addition to sewing and several other crafts.

Joseph "Joe" E. Toth Jr., 89, of Donora, formerly of Clairton passed away at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born January 8, 1933 in Clairton and is the son of the late Joseph E. Toth Sr. and the late Anna (Evans) Toth. Now a Veteran, Joe served in the Army from 1953 until 1955 where he was honorably discharged just 6 months shy of the end of the Korean War. After, he went school, now known as Triangle Tech, where he became a Draftsman, working for a few different companies throughout the years. He was also a long time member of Triumph of the Holy Cross - St. Clare of Assisi.

Maryann Pociask, 80, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was born September 3, 1941 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Herbert J. and Violet (Rudolph) Campbell. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Pociask who passed away January 22, 2016. She was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Township and served as Treasurer there for over 20 years. She was a retired Administrative Assistant at the former PNC Bank in Elizabeth and had previousley worked for the former Union National Bank.

Richard Ronald Clarke, 81, of West Mifflin, passed away at home on Friday, July 1, 2022. He was born December 7, 1940 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Raymond and Anna (Vrcic) Clarke. Richard had worked for the former Continental Can and Sears Auto Center in West Mifflin. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. While in the Army, he received the Sharpshooters Medal and the Good Conduct Medal and had also completed Advanced Military Police Training. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ann (Oswald) Clarke, daughter, Noel Christine Faust of West Mifflin, and granddaughter, Alicia Ann Faust. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Clarke. James W. Kimberly

James W. Kimberly, 85, of West Newton passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022. He was born April 12, 1937 in West Newton and is the son of the late James V. and Matilda (Shuster) Kimberly. He was the husband to the late Julia (Vehouc) Kimberly, who passed away December 5, 2018. James worked many years for the GC Murphy Company within their warehouse running the forklifts. James, now a veteran, served in the United States Army guarding the wall in Berlin, Germany. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Baby. James was also a lifetime member of the West Newton Sportman's Club. He is survived by his children, James (Jan) Kimberly of Fairbanks, Alaska, Rose (Nicholas) Ginter of Yukon, PA, Dale (Diane) Kimberly of Sutersville, PA, and Susan Kimberly of West Newton; grandchildren, Nikki, Jamie, & Jenna Kimberly, Angie & Tylor Kimberly, John Jr., & Jenna Kerlicker, and Nicholas Ginter; two great-grandchildren, Sean & Casey; and his brother, Richard Kimberly of Greensburg. In addition to his parents and wife, James is also preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Ginter. The family has requested to keep all services private. Michael "Mikey" John Kiger, Jr., 39, of Versailles, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at home. He was born March 17, 1983 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Michael John (Debb) Kiger of Versailles and the late Maureen Joan (Szekeres) Kiger. Michael was a Welder and Boiler Maker. He enjoyed working on cars and loved to go boating and fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by his aunt, Terry Lee (Paul) Burke of Elizabeth Township, uncle, John A. Kiger of Lincoln Borough, step-sister, Renatta Signorini of Greensburg, and many cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Picnic will be held at a later date. James Richard (Dick) Gantt, 92, of Buena Vista PA, formerly of Gaston, SC, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born January 14, 1930 in Gaston, SC and was the son to the late I.D. and Katie (Green) Gantt. Dick is a retired carpenter and a lifelong member of the Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by his loving wife, Bertha M. (Sharpe) Gantt of Buena Vista; daughters, Vicki Kinner of Buena Vista, Sue (Jim) Harchelroad of Elizabeth, and Linda Hanselman of Statesville NC; son, Ricky Gantt of Buena Vista; grandchildren, Ron & Steven (Kayla) Kinner, Jeremy (AJ) & Jonathan (Amanda ) Harchelroad, and Chelsea & Emily Toman; great-grandchildren, Karson & Kamron Kinner, and Grayson & Savannah Harchelroad; sister, Melba Gantt Morgan of Columbia SC; and lifelong family friend, Edward (Bucky) Bowels. She was born November 16, 1959 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Archpriest Dimitri H. and Matushka Martha Marie (Sweda) Ermakov. She was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, choir Director for 42 years and also a member of the Balalaika Group and the Folk Dance Group. She had worked for the McKeesport Area School District as a Cafeteria Server for over 15 years.

George Robert Anderson

George Robert Anderson, 78, of Elizabeth Township, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022 at home. George was born February 19, 1944 in Harrisburg and was the son of the late Norman D. and Helen L. (Wright) Anderson.  George was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, who served during The Vietnam war. He was a jack of all trades who held numerous jobs throughout his life, but most notably worked at Auto Zone in McKeesport and as a technician for RC Haywood.  He was former member of Park Baptist Church and a current member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, where he was a part of the choir and bell choir.  George enjoyed singing and playing his numerous guitars, he also wrote and recorded some music as well.  He was a people person and had an amazing sense of humor, he liked to joke with everyone.  He loved his grandchildren very much. He also loved his dogs, especially his dog, Hannity. George was very patriotic and was proud of his service in the Air Force and will be greatly missed.

Paul Robert Di Fabio, 88, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. He was born June 22, 1933 in Christy Park and was the son of the late Antonio V. and Anna (Berardi) Di Fabio. Paul was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak, The American Legion, and McKeesport Kiwanis Club for over 50 years where he was president from 1971-1972 and was instrumental in the Interfaith Chapel at McKeesport Hospital. He was a US Army Veteran  and served as a Military Policeman. Paul began his career in the automobile business as Service Manager of the former Peckman Motors in Versailles, and then became proprietor of Di Fabio Amoco in McKeesport. He retired from the former Tom Clark Chevrolet in McKeesport after selling over 4000 cars. Paul was an avid Steelers fan and attended 5 Super Bowls.

Beth Ann Menke Philburn, 62, of Finleyville passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. She was born December 24, 1959 in Mt. Lebanon and was the daughter of the late Edward Ronald and Marian Louise (Myers) Menke. Beth attended college at Edinboro University where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She volunteered most of her time to multiple VFW's and American Legions. She is survived by her sons, Kyle (Anne Quinio) Hufnagel of South Park, and Neil Hufnagel of Seattle, WA; sisters, Laura (Greg) Flaus of Mt. Lebanon, and Lisa (Rick) Foster of Mars, PA; grandson, Jude Hufnagel, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Edward Philburn, who passed away May 21, 2021. There is no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Dolores Alice Weinstein

Dolores Alice Weinstein, 89, long-time White Oak resident, wife, mother, and matriarch of a loving extended family died Sunday, June 12, 2022. Mrs. Weinstein was born July 6, 1932, in McKeesport to Mildred Rita (Topley) and Joseph Lorraine Wilson. In her youth, Dolores played piano, sang in the Duquesne High School chorus, and acted in the Senior Class play with her future husband. She graduated from Duquesne High School in 1950 and married her high school sweetheart, H. Wayne Weinstein, on Feb. 17, 1951. In 1958, Dolores and Wayne moved to White Oak, where they raised seven children and became active members of the community.

Dolores is remembered as a role model who readily embraced and took a genuine interest in everyone she met. As her family and circle of friends grew, she hosted hundreds of gatherings celebrating holidays, birthdays, baptisms, 1st communions, confirmations, graduations, baby and bridal showers, wedding anniversaries, and more.

Dolores was a pioneer for women simply by living life on her terms. While raising 7 children, she served as a Girl Scout Leader, a board member of the Jayceettes, and president of the Christian Mothers and Catholic Womens’ Guild. She ran for public office, winning all seven times, fulfilling two six-year terms as auditor and five four-year terms as the 1st female member of the White Oak Boro Town Council. After retiring from Town Council, Dolores was appointed as Local Registrar of Vital Records and was employed by the state of Pennsylvania for 17 years.

Terry Lee Bartman, 73, of McKeesport, passed away Tuesday, June 7. 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Terry was born February 12, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida and was the son of the late Nathan and Yvonne Pauline (Haskew) Bartman. He was a US Navy Veteran, where he served as an air traffic controller.  He worked as a Police Officer and later Sergeant for the Jefferson Hills Police Department and upon retirement worked as a dispatcher for 3 plus years, also for the Jefferson Hills Police Department.  He was a member and past secretary of the Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge #526 and also was a member of the Pleasant Hills American Legion Post 712.  Terry also enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.  He will be greatly missed.

Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township, and was a former member of Elizabeth Township Seniors, Victory Ladies Auxillary and the Elizabeth Township Zoning Board. She was retired from Round Hill Regional Park and had previously worked for Allegheny County Treasurers Office and the former 7 Springs Par 3 Golf Course.
