She was born December 7, 1941 in Elizabeth and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Mae Thornton Lewis. Loretta was a member of St. Michael's Parish in Elizabeth Township and was a teacher for over 30 years for Elizabeth Forward School District. She is survived by her husband, William Thomas Bittle, son, Michael W. Bittle of Nashville, TN, daughter, Lee Ann (David) Szuhoza and Jessica and Jenna of Carroll Twp., sisters, Maureen Lewis of Sarasota, FL, and Diane Rice of Delaware, OH, nieces, nephews, and her granddog, Athena.

Albert “Al” Torok, Jr., 72, of Smithton, Pennsylvania, died at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Oakland surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born on May 31, 1944, in Versailles, Pennsylvania, one of 8 children of Albert Torok, Sr., and Dorothy (Hixon) Torok. He retired from the Elizabeth Forward School District and the Youghiogheny Country Club in Elizabeth Township. He was a US Navy Veteran, having served in Cuba during the Vietnam War. He was an officer and member of the American Legion Post 790 in Smithton. Al is survived by 2 children, sons, Kevin A. Torok of Smithton and Keith A. Torok of Elizabeth; 4 grandchildren, Lawra and Lindzey Torok, Kevin Torok, Jr., and Sean Torok; 3 great-grandchildren, Sommer, Ella and Marin; brother, Robert Torok of Butler; sisters, Sandy (Dan) Dole of North Carolina, Margie Potts of McKeesport, Cheryl Fulton of White Oak, Cindy (Tim) Thompson of North Huntingdon, and Sharon (Joseph) Gibbons of Greenock; also nieces and nephews.

Leonard E. "Lenny" Zielinski, 64, of Versailles, formerly of Port Vue, died Monday February 13, 2017. He was born September 25, 1952 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Leonard E. Zielinski, Sr., and the late Evelyn Sopko Zielinski. Lenny worked at the former US Steel National Tube Works as an inspector for 12 years and also worked for Highview in maintainence for 24 years. Lenny was a H.A.M. Radio operator, enjoyed photography and was also the family comedian. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Della Boyer Zielinski, brothers, Mike (Sandy) Zielinski of Carnegie, and Dan (Marge) Zielinski of Eighty Four, sister, Mae (Bob) Magdic of Fredericktown, sister-in-law, Jacqueline Shah of Buena Vista, nieces, Jacklynn and Sarah, and nephews, David, Andrew, Levi, Jacob, James, and Nicholas.
