Anna Bell Shaner, 81, of New Stanton formerly of Penn Hills, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in William Penn Care Center. She was born May 24, 1934 in New Kensington and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ida Negley Swanger. Anna Bell was a bookkeeper for the former Tile City in Wilkinsburg and had also worked for Saint Bartholomew Parish, Penn Hills.

Betty Mae Kasmarik, 90, of McKeesport, formerly of Lincoln and Liberty Borough, died Friday, January 29, 2016. She was born February 8, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Gladys Littleton and wife of the late John Kasmarik. Betty was a member of Port Vue United Methodist and the Lincoln Borough Ladies Auxilliary. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Charles) Spiro of Sedona, AZ, sister, Louise McGrew of Croydon, grandchildren, Melody and Sarah Kasmarik, Harmony (Scott) Rager and Jason (Mary Beth) Spiro and Sandra Hodgson, great-grandchildren, Damian and Jude Rager, Symphony Kasmarik, and Theo, Marlee and Maxwell Spiro, and Carly Hodgson and nieces and nephews.

She was the wife of the late Stephen R. "Steve" Spishock who died January 24, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Spishock of Swissvale and Darla (Robert) Lynn of White Oak, sons, Jeffrey L. Spishock and Scott A. (Dottie) Spishock of Greenock, brother, Daniel J. Capner Jr of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Ashlee Lynn, Lindsay Spishock, Brice Lynn and Brianna Spishock, nieces and nephews.

He was born November 3, 1981 in Jeannette was the son of Gary and Sharon Keeler Schork of Jeannette. He worked for UPS and was a member of The Youngwood Sportsman's Association. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman. Joseph loved football and going to hunting camp in Cameron County.

Lebanon and Richard (Gretchen) Cohen of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Robyn Cohen (David) Brown, Matthew Cohen, Sarah Cohen, Rachel (David Isacco) Cohen, and Adam Cohen, great-grandchildren, Abigayle and Parker Brown and Victoria Cohen.

Leslie William "Coby" Beresford, 64, of Monongahela, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at home. He was born August 18, 1951 in Charleroi and was the son of the late Leslie R. Beresford and the late Josephine Roberts Beresford Kaminsky. He was the husband of the late Linda B. Beresford who died September 20, 2009. Leslie was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle and the Victory Hill Social Club. He was a USMC Veteran and served from 1969-71. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, Car Shows and Motorcycles. Leslie was an auto mechanic and had worked for Speedy Muffler King in McKeesport and Penn Hills.

McAtee Sr. and the late Catherine M. Bauerschmidt McAtee. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in North Huntingdon and White Oak American Legion. George was proprietor of the George D. McAtee Co., and was a WWII Veteran serving in the USMC in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.

Robert E. Butz, 78, of Charleroi, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016. He was born November 12, 1937 in Greensburg and was the son of the late F. Emmett Butz and the late Eleanor May Cline Butz. Robert served in the United States Air Force and was a graduate of the Potomac State College of West Virginia University. He was a retired Manager for the Authority of The Borough of Charleroi. He is survived by his wife, Judy A. Shively Butz, son, James Robert "Rob" (Jamie) Butz of Belle Vernon, daughter, Tracy Stablein of Monongahela, brother, John (Judy) Butz of Arizona, and sister, Carol (Richard) Patterson of Youngstown.
