William R. Horgos, age 86, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Jefferson Hills Manor. A Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, he was a retired industrial fireman and plant protection specialist for U.S. Steel Clairton Works. He was a lifetime member and former chief of the West Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company and a former police officer and mayor of West Elizabeth. A former member of St. Isaac Jogues Church, he was a former security guard and weigh master with Dillner Transfer, a ham radio operator (KA3JKK), a captain with the Civil Air Patrol, and a former member of the Clairton Anglers Club.

Terry J. Semian, age 68, of Monongahela, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at UPMC St. Margaret. He retired as the owner and trucker for Terry Semian Trucking and was a school bus driver in the Charleroi School District. Born June 30, 1949 in Monongahela, he was a son of the late Joseph Semian Jr. and the late Grace Ann (Popp) Semian. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marilyn L. (Behanna) Semian; son, Joseph T. (Colleen Waldron) Semian of Monongahela; sisters, Mary Jo Yunkun of Gastonville, Joyce Keeney of Iowa, and Susan Oles of Scottsdale, AZ; and brother, Tom (Linda) Semian of Avalon; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, the NRA, Goldwing Road Riders Association, and AARP. He enjoyed flying his powered parachute.
