Janet E. (George) Zambanini, age 74, of Irwin, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born April 4, 1951 in McKeesport, a daughter the late Elmer and Pauline George. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years and worked at Kane in McKeesport and Redstone Highlands in North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Gerald Zambanini; brother Edwin George; and brother-in-law Gene Barchanowicz. She is survived by her son Christopher Komyanik of Iraq; sisters Gloria (Gene) Benedict; Leah (Harry) Socrates and Paula Barchanowicz; nieces and nephews Jason, Marcy, Adam, Dereck, Corissa, Matt, Jamie and Elise; 6 great nieces; and 4 great nephews. Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 23rd from 10 a.m. till time of funeral service at Noon at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. On Friday, October 17, 2025, Karen Green Andrews departed this life peacefully at home. Born June 23, 1955, in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Arlene Burns Green.
Karen was preceded in death by her sisters, Joanne Green Wells and Delores Marshall; brother, Earl Green; and beloved cousins, Patricia and Laura Green.
She was a 1973 graduate of McKeesport Area High School. Karen attended Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Cory J. Rotharmel, who left us on October 16, 2025, just two days shy of his 41st birthday. Born on October 18, 1984, in McKeesport, he was the beloved son of Brian and the late Marilyn (Mossburg) Rotharmel. Cory was known for his vibrant spirit, a passion that shone through in all aspects of his life. He cherished his hobbies, often indulging in his love for video games, with Excitebike on Nintendo being one of his favorites. Cory fondly remembered the trips he took to Kennywood, where laughter and memories were made. Music was always close to Cory's heart; he found solace in the sounds of Muck Sticky, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dire Straits, allowing their melodies to accompany him through life's moments. He also embraced the simple joys, such as raising chickens and the unwavering companionship of his beloved dog, Princess Puppernutters, whose playful spirit mirrored Cory's own.

Marian Matilda Ines (Tomaino) Raseta age 98 of Florida, formerly of North Huntingdon PA, passed away on October 19, 2025, at Sabal Palms Long Term Care and Rehab in Largo, Florida, after a long illness. She was born February 13, 1927, in Pitcairn, a daughter of the late James and Clemintine Bonacci Tomainio. In addition to her parents Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Milan Raseta, her brothers Victor Tomaino, Adolph Tomaino and Ralph Tomaino and sisters Jency Ruffo, Caroline Berardelli and Viola Chiodo.
A graduate of Mount Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, Marian taught elementary students in the Pittsburgh Diocese and the Duquesne City School District. Her deep devotion to the blessing of God’s gifts led her to share her love of music with her students and later was instrumental in conducting a newly formed boys’ choir. She was one of many St. Joseph Sisters’ angelic voices which were recorded on a Christmas carol record album enjoyed to this day. She held memberships with the Sweet Adelines and the chorus of The Pittsburgh Opera. Marian was a beautiful, loving lady, who was blessed with the gentle strength of kindness towards everyone she met. She loved all her nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Through her devotion in God’s prayers, she shared the gifts of living life’s joys to its fullest.
Contributions in Marian’s memory may be donated to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1020 State Street, Baden, PA, 15005.
Visitation will be held at James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon PA, on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11 AM – 1 PM, with a blessing service to follow at 1 PM followed by entombment at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, PA.

Lisa Marie Midla, age 53, of Cheswick, PA, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at home. Born in McKeesport on January 24, 1972, she is the daughter of John P. Midla of West Mifflin and the late Bridget A. (Pavlo) Midla.
Lisa earned a degree in Accounting at Mansfield University and worked as an accountant for American Refinery Group in Harmar Twp. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin. She enjoyed playing cards and trying out new restaurants. Lisa had a great sense of humor and was always willing to volunteer when needed.
She is survived by her father, John, her sister Kathleen (Brian) O’Keefe of Perry, Florida and her nephew Brian O’Keefe of Proctorville, Ohio. She is also survived by aunts, uncles & cousins.

Beatrice "Bea" Sigler, age 70, of McKeesport, died September 22, 2025, at the Premier of Washington Nursing Home. Born June 29, 1955, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Darlene (Campbell) Barton, and the wife of the late Andrew Sigler.
Bea had worked in Ira, Michigan, for a yarn manufacturer. She was a beloved sister and friend.
She is survived by son, Thomas Sigler of SD; sisters, Darlene Helderlein, Mary Lutsko, Kathleen Bowser; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bea was also preceded in death by siblings Charles Barton, Robert Barton, and Alice Vincent.

William G. ‘Bill’ Worthington, age 81, of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at home. He was a former welder with Westinghouse in Large and Reliance Steel in McKeesport. Bill was a friendly and outgoing person who never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed fishing and was an amateur herpetologist as well as a lifelong naturalist. Born on September 3, 1944, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late William G. and Isabella (Bahnemann) Worthington. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Lacey K. Ruth B. Behary, age 89 of North Huntingdon passed away on October 18, 2025 at Hempfield Manor in Greensburg. She was born on February 14, 1936 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Eugene and Sophie Slepecki Balough. Prior to her retirement, Ruth was employed in the accounts-payable department for Ritter Engineering. She also worked part-time as a U.S. Postal Service computer center clerk. She was an antique dealer, well known for her cookie jar collection and she enjoyed various flea markets. Ruth was the first female union representative and the first grievance woman for U.S Steel's Continental Can Company. In 1965, she won an award for the second fastest typer in the U.S.A. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William C. Behary, sister Toni Bukovac, and grandson, Seth William Christopher Teahan. She is survived by one son, William Behary Jr. (wife Amy) and one daughter, MaryBeth Taylor (husband Tom and family), grandchildren, Sean Teahan (wife Michelle), Kyle Teahan, Ali Soukovich, and Cameron Behary, and great-grandchildren, Malley, Isla, and Nora. In accordance with Ruth's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Born in Braddock, Faith was the beloved daughter of the late William Mosley and Joyce Henderson-Henley. She was a proud member of Miracle Temple in Duquesne, where her deep faith in God guided her life and gave her strength through every season.
Faith had a truly beautiful soul — gentle, loving, and full of light. She was known for her kind spirit, her laughter that could brighten any room, and her willingness to do anything for her family and friends. She loved gardening, video games, westerns, and bingo, and she had a special way of finding joy in the simple things. A natural hair stylist, Faith shared her creativity and care with others, helping them feel confident and loved. Above all else, her family was her greatest treasure, and she loved them unconditionally.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving significant other, James Able; her children: Antoine (Taneka) Moody-Henley, Otis Chambers Henley, Richard Chambers Henley, Kendra Chambers Henley, Christopher (Tia) Chambers Henley, Valerie (Joseph) Chambers Huff Ramuchak, Anthony Darnell Chambers Dixon, and Faith Chambers Huff Darnell. She was preceded in death by her children Myra Chambers Huff and Jason Chambers Dixon.
Faith is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
