Margaret Marie Eddy, 95, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025. She was born in Duquesne on October 4, 1929 to the late John and Mary (Serdy) Regosh. She was also the wife to the late Thomas Eddy before his passing in May 2020. Margaret worked as a floral designer for companies in the surrounding areas - Lawrence the Florist & Gift Shop & lastly, Johnston the Florist in White Oak and McKeesport. Raised catholic, Margaret became a Eucharistic Minister for St. Michael's Church in Elizabeth for many years and was a very active member with the church outside of the Ministry.

She was a legal secretary at “The Law Office” in Pittsburgh for over 20 years. She then worked at the Pat McGrail Law Office in White Oak and at R.D.M. Plumbing in West Homestead. She was a member of the McKeesport Alliance Church, where she served as a greeter. She enjoyed gardening, canning, yard work and bicycle riding.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Robert A. Seabol; children, John A. “Jay” Martin of McKeesport and Jacen Wargo of Duquesne; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Paul “Jeff” (Linda) Schink of Dravosburg; and stepdaughter, Rachel Seabol of Liberty Boro.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at McKeesport Alliance Church, 938 Summitt St., McKeesport, PA 15132, with Pastor Kevin Truman, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.

Roland Keith "Rocky" Childers, 60, of Blythedale, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025. He was born April 13, 1964 in Mulvane, KS., and was the son of the late Lee Roy and Edith (Thompson) Childers, Jr. Rocky was a Bartender at WMBU in Blythedale for over 30 years. He is survived by his brothers, Christopher (Sue) Childers of Sutersville and Glenn (George Smith) Childers of Elizabeth Township, special niece, Heather (Todd) Slonecker of Blythedale and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Roy Childers, III., and Greg "Scotty" Childers, and sisters, Cynthia Childers Criswell and Marina Miller. There is no visitation. Maurice C. Williams, age 70, of McKeesport, died at home on January 6, 2025. Born August 13, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edgar Smith and Sarah Irene Williams and husband of Denise Porter. Maurice was a dedicated butcher known for his craft at Rendulic's in Port Vue and 84 Packing in Washington. When he wasn't working, Maurice enjoyed riding his electric bike along the Yough Bike Trail, appreciating the beauty of nature surrounding him. He held a special love for vacationing in Ocean City, MD, where every sunset became a cherished memory. Above all, Maurice was devoted to his family, and his grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride. They will forever remember him for his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Esther Marie Murtha, 93, of Keyser, WV, formerly of Boston, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara (O'Connell) Reinhard. She was the wife of the late Kenneth John Murtha, who passed away July 17, 2010. Esther was a former member of Mary, Mother of God- St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. She enjoyed dancing with her husband at Johnny's in New Eagle. She was also a member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens and the former Ladies Auxillary of Boston Vol. Fire Department. Esther was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor and friend will be greatly missed.

John Paul "JP" Charney, age 62 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, January 3, 2025. Born June 30, 1962 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Estock) Charney. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, John Paul worked at the former Joe's Automotive and the US Post Office, both in Clairton. An avid outdoorsman who also loved to go to his cabin and garden, he was a member of the Anglers Club of Clairton, the Scullton Rod and Gun Club, and former member of the Clairton Sportsmen's Club. John Paul's family will remember him as a generous person, with both his money and his time, who was always willing to lend a hand. He often spent his evenings mowing the lawns of his older neighbors after work until the sun set. He is survived by his siblings Daniel (Ann Papa) Charney of Clairton and Lee Ann (Richard) Yaga of Glassport.

Laura A. Louden, age 85, of McKeesport, died on January 4, 2025, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born September 12, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Edith (Harbert) Clark and wife of the late Walter J. Louden. For many years, Laura was a waitress at Woody's, where her friendly demeanor and genuine interactions created a welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike. A former member of the Beulah Park United Methodist Church in McKeesport, Laura found solace and connection within her faith community, embodying the values of love and compassion. As a devoted softball mom and wife, Laura was actively involved with the White Oak Athletic Association, supporting her children's athletic endeavors with enthusiasm and pride. Her commitment extended beyond sports; she cherished the joy of socializing and entertaining, often bringing friends and family together to share laughter and create memories. Laura had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She delighted in watching TV soaps, tackling crossword puzzles, and engaging in spirited games with her card club. Her love for music was evident in her enthusiastic dancing, especially when it came to the jitterbug and the classic oldies that she so adored.

Terrance O'Patrick "Terry" Coulter, Sr., 68, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025. He was born in McKeesport on May 14, 1956 as the son to the late William and Eleanor (Fenton) Coulter. In 1973, Terry enlisted as a Marine and served for 3 years and obtaining many medals - National Defense Service Medal, Navy Achievement and Meritorious Mast; which is a medal awarded to those whose performance goes beyond the normal duty requirements. He was always so proud to be a Marine. After being honorably discharged in 1976, the rest of his career was devoted to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Banks, where he worked as a general warehouse manager. He also spent his free time building just about anything he could with K'nex. He has a basement full of his creations and a plethora of extras stored away for future projects. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
