Mary Ann (Hruska) Emert, age 90, of Finleyville, formerly of Elrama, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at home. A graduate of California University, she retired as office manager for Conversion Systems in Elrama. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Church in Elrama and was a long-time church organist. Born November 6, 1932 in Donora, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kammer) Hruska and wife of the late Charles J. Emert. She is survived by sons, Harry P. (Roseanne) Warchola of Marietta, GA and Michael (Suzan) Warchola of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Jonathan Capicotto, Christopher (Maria) Capicotto, Lukas (Holly) Warchola, Logan Warchola and Matthew Law; great-grandchildren, Chance, Nia and Caleb Capicotto; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry P. Warchola; daughter, Marilyn "Teenie" Capicotto; and infant son, Paul John Warchola. Louis W. Gephart

Louis William Gephart, dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, brother, friend and resident of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife and daughters at Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills. Louis W. Gephart was born to Louis T. and Anna (Grimes) Gephart in Elizabeth on December 2, 1938. He graduated from Elizabeth Forward High School in 1958 and was a veteran of the 101st Airborne Division Fort Campbell, Kentucky Battery C- 321st Artillery. Lou married Saundra Lee Homer on November 10, 1962 and they spent 60 beautiful years together. Through those years they had three daughters who cherished their loving father. He was a member of the Elizabeth Township Sportsmen Association and American Legion Post 0553. He worked at Elizabeth Motors, Edgar Motors, Fisher Body, and Volkswagen while living in Pennsylvania. Lou and Sandy moved to St. Louis, MO, in 1991 where Louis began working for BASF as a paint supervisor, still making frequent trips back to Pennsylvania to be with family. He made the best of friends and memories wherever he went. Lou’s true joys were tinkering in the garage, fishing, hunting, camping, playing golf, fixing cars, playing cards, horseshoes, dancing, and above all, spending time with his family. He loved having family sing-alongs in the garage or basement. You would probably see him chopping wood, having a shot and a beer, or watching a good cowboy movie. He will always be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, his love of country music, and his maintained garden. You may recall seeing him on his golf cart with his tools strapped on delivering zucchini from his garden to the neighbors, cutting his grass on his John Deere, or plowing everyone’s driveway in the winter. Louis is survived by his wife, Sandy; their three daughters, Kimberly, Lorraine (Bill) Payne and Denise (James) Kahler; grandchildren, Ashton, Jacob and Ava; sisters, Minnie, Patsy, Marion, Hazel, Twylia, and Donna; and countless nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John, Jim and Cliff Gephart; sisters, Evelyn Opfar and Anna Lou Brown; and grandson, Alec James. He will always be remembered by his creative “way of doing things” or gadgets around the house. Thank you to the wonderful team at Commonwealth Hospice and his caretakers at Arden Courts who cared for him in his last days. He truly had a life lived to the fullest. He will never be replaced and the world is a little emptier without him. If you knew him, you loved him. All we can hope for is to fill our dash (1938 - 2022) with memories and making sure the people we love know us and love us. He lived an amazing dash. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Panachida service at 7:30 PM. Terri Lynn Zombek, age 71 of Forward Twp., passed away at home on Thursday, December 29, 2022.  Born January 10, 1951 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late George and Dolores (Henry) Young.  An executive secretary for SteelMed in McKeesport, Terri will be remembered by her family for her wonderful storytelling; her love of music, dancing and puzzles; but most importantly as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years John D. Zombek; her daughter Tammy (Glenn) Bales of McKeesport; her grandchildren Allison and John Brown of Elizabeth, Christopher Leonard and Joshua Buchina of McKeesport, and C.J. Sphar of Perryopolis; her sister Sandy (Dennis) Sandusky of West Mifflin; and their children Matthew Sandusky and Dennis Sandusky.

Anne Trent, age 95 and formerly of Versailles, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Paramount Senior Living, Peters Township.  Born October 23, 1927 in Versailles, she was a daughter of the late Milovan and Susan (Stafinsky) Tumara.  A member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in McKeesport, Anne worked as an office manager for O'Donnell and Associates Engineering in Pleasant Hills and was a member of the AARP.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Trent, her son Robert E. Trent, her sisters Mary Mihoces and Catherine Flamish, and her brother Paul Tumara.  Anne is survived by her daughter Karen Sue (Kenneth) Johnson of Marietta, GA; her daughter-in-law Helen Trent of Peters Twp.; her grandchildren Robert E. Trent, Jr., Erin Rattenni, Ryan P. Trent, and James D. Fox; her seven great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

Clarence W. Fine, age 92, of Forward Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Victoria House Personal Care Home. An Army veteran, he was a coal miner by trade and was extremely proud of his business. He retired as a steelworker for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen and was a former Masonic Lodge member. Born February 12, 1930 in Forward Twp., he was a son of the late John Henry and Anna Mary (Cochenour) Fine. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Velma (Lenhart) Fine; daughter, Crystal (Dan) Loera of Oregan; sons, Richard (Darlene) Fine of Elizabeth Twp., Edward Fine of New Eagle and Mickey Fine of Carroll Twp.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Campbell of Texas; also, nieces and nephews.

Gregory Hamadock, age 76, of Chantilly, VA, and formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA. A graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and the University of Maryland College Park, Greg had a long and successful career in civil engineering. Greg was a lifelong Steelers fan, as well as a proud follower of the University of Maryland Terapins and the Washington Capitals. Phyllis Kelly, age 84 of North Huntingdon, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital with her family by her side.  Born February 1, 1938 in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Helen (Dubyak) Palmieri.  Besides her parents, Phyllis has finally rejoined those who preceded her in death, including her daughter Dawn R. Kelly.  She is survived by her husband James M. Kelly; her sons James B. Kelly, Martin (Cathy) Kelly, and Robert T. Kelly; her grandchildren: Karri, Kimberly (Matt), Kristy, Cheyenne, Donny (Amanda), Brian, Bruce, Bradley (Emily), Marti (Bill), Emily, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren: Alexia, Payton, Mason, Nolan, Presley, and Dakota; and her sister Karen Palmieri.  A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11 AM at the First Evangelical Free Church, 4001 University Dr, McKeesport, PA 15132.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family to help defray costs.  Arrangements by the Daniel F. Margaret DeDominicis, age 83 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born April 28, 1939 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Houston) Pazo.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton, Margaret worked as a Phlebotomist at McKeesport Hospital, was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge #146 in Clairton, and was an avid card player and fan of Notre Dame Football.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John V. DeDominicis, who passed away February 20, 1983, and her siblings Rosemary Rudez, Fr. Jack A. Pazo, and Ruth Ann Skop.  Margaret is survived by her children Dana DeDominicis of Clairton, Rosanne DeDominicis of Clairton, Daniel DeDominicis of Clairton, and Paul (Paula) DeDominicis of Jefferson Hills; and also many nieces and nephews.

Nicole S. (Jenkins) Wall, age 36, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Nicole was a strong, stubborn, and caring daughter and mother who always put her family before herself. She loved her daughter more than anything on Earth. She had a knack for giving small meaningful gifts to those close with her and lived to the beat of her own drum. She was famously known for her passionate and direct communication, which she inherited from her mother. Born March 12, 1986 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Bruce E. Jenkins of Elizabeth Twp. and the late Cheryl (Maksin) Jenkins. In addition to her father, she is survived by her pride and joy, daughter Hailey Wall of Elizabeth Twp.; brother, Bruce R. (Rebecca Gazda) Jenkins of Leetsdale; fiance, Frank Gribschaw of Donora and his children, Tori, Franklin and Miles; also, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her family. Amanda C. Glemba, age 81, passed away December 9, 2022 at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth.  Born June 2,1941 in Versailles, the daughter of the late George R. Pavlic and Mary M. (Sedlar) Pavlic, Mandy was a talented seamstress. She graduated from the Clarissa School in 1962 where she later taught sewing, drafting, and millinery. She was well-known in the McKeesport area for her work, designing intricate wedding dresses and doing simple alterations with equal expertise. She was employed by the Diocese of Pittsburgh for twenty years as a dedicated administrative assistant, managing the Saint Dennis Parish in Versailles, The weekly church bulletins were works of art created on a typewriter and a Xerox machine, well before a computer could make the task an easy one. Mandy was a lifetime member of Croatian Fraternal Union, Sveto Trojstvo Lodge 146 in Versailles. She was also a long-time employee of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America in Wilkins Township, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed her travels to Croatia, shopping trips to the Waterfront, Luciano's lasagna, and her Yorkshire Terrier before falling ill.

Jesionowski, age 88 of Versailles, passed away on on Monday, December 5, 2022 in Havencrest Nursing Center, Monongahela.  Born July 8, 1934 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Marion (Sorocko) Dwornick.  A member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - Corpus Christi Church, Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed her days out.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Jesionowski, who passed away October 30, 2010, her son Dr. Gary D. (Roxanne) Jesionowski, who passed away March 4, 2012, her sister Dolores J. Kolodziej, and her brothers Raphael and Tom Dwornick.  Lorraine is survived by her sons Mark F. (Linda) and Eric A. Nicholas M. Gimiliano, age 71 of Clairton, passed away at home on Sunday, December 4, 2022.  Born April 27, 1951 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Peter A. and Josephine (Curinga) Gimiliano.  Nick graduated from Clairton High School, Class of 1969, where he played baseball and basketball; received his Associates Degree from California State University; and his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He was a musician who also privately taught music and drove bus.  He was well known as the drummer for the popular band Pure Gold.  Nick is survived by his wife, whom he met while they were both working on the S.S. Dolphin Cruise Ship and to whom he has been married for 33 years, Karen Mellor-Gimiliano; his daughter Nina Rose Gimiliano, his son Giullio (fiancee' Rachel) Gimiliano; his sister Angela Summers of Clairton; his brother Giullio Gimiliano of Jefferson Hills, and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
