Roger Joseph Maceno, age 88 of Elizabeth Township, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born June 27, 1933 in Braddock he was a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Powell) Maceno. Roger loved to talk to people, which he had the opportunity to do every day as a bus driver for Port Authority Transit for 36 years.  Following his retirement from PAT in 1994, he took two weeks off and worked another 24 years for Massie Toyota and Day Toyota.  He was a devoted dance and marching band parent to Tina during her school years and was a fixture at Payday’s Giant Eagle, which he used as a social hub. He was also a former member of the Lion’s Club. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and “Pop Pop.”

Eugene R. Glos, age 60, of Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was a retired mechanic for Port Authority and also worked at his family’s business, One Stop Spot along Route 51 in Elizabeth. An Army veteran, he enjoyed fishing and working in his garage, which he referred to as Stella's, and spending time with his cat Spikets. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his entire family. Born June 16, 1961 in McKeesport, he was a son of Pearl C. (Hickman) Glos of Elizabeth and the late Ronald E. Glos. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters, Heather (Wayne) Michaels of Lincoln Borough and Eugenia (Junior) Glos of Clairton; grandchildren, Mack, Tony and Shane; girlfriend, Lisa Knapp of White Oak; sisters, Sandra (Kenny) Lawver of Bronks Mills, NJ and Pamela Geiser of Elizabeth Twp.; friend of 49 years, Bruce Trumpie of Monongahela; also, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a member and EMT at Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company and a former member and chief at Glassport Fire Company #2. A hockey coach for Ringgold High School and Mon Valley Thunder, he loved hunting, fishing, and his grandsons. Born June 26, 1973 in Chicago, IL, he was a son of Sherry (David) Easton Sutton of Port Vue and the late Lawrence Lewis. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of eight years, Toni M. June (Carper) Magyar, age 72, of Floreffe, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at UPMC McKeesport. She retired as a receptionist for TST in Pleasant Hills. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her daily cup of coffee, and was the most selfless person, always giving to others. Born July 5, 1949 in Wheeling, WV, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Alice (Grimm) Carper and wife of the late William E. Magyar. She is survived by her children, Adam Magyar of Elizabeth, Aubrey (Rudi) Sanutelli of Clairton and Andrew "Odie" (Donna) Magyar of Springdale; grandchildren, Aiden Sanutelli, Morgan Sanutelli, Lyla Jade Magyar, Meadow Sanutelli, Joscelyn McCarthy, Codie McCarthy and Addyson McCarthy; sisters, Marna Croyle of Clairton and Tawny Mooney of Tampa, FL; also, nieces and nephews. She retired as a maintenance person for Chemply in Bunola and was a former employee at JCPenney at Century III Mall. She was a member of Bunola Church of the Nazarene. Born August 31, 1939 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mildred (Cushey) Lipp and wife of the late Charles "Pic" Strotman Sr. She is survived by sons, Curtis Strotman of Bunola, Craig Strotman of Forward Twp. and Emery Strotman of Bunola; grandchildren, Cassandra, Samuel, Isaac and Jacob Strotman; sister, Phyllis Thompson of Forward Twp.; brother, John (Patricia) Lipp of St. Augustine, FL; also, nieces and nephews. Andrews.  Mary Jo was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Michael’s Church, Elizabeth Twp. and was a bartender, cook, waitress around the area and worked most recently with Triumvirate Environmental Inc.  She was a fisherwoman and a good-hearted, free spirit with a heart-of-gold. Along with her mother, she is survived by her fiance' Ken Thornton; her step-daughters Miranda Thornton and Amber (John) Kieon; step-grandchildren Connor and Harper; siblings Susan (Michael) Krznaric of Elizabeth Twp. Michael (Lisa) Andrews of Walnut Creek, CA and Kathleen (David) Henderson of Greenock; brother-in-law George Blalock; and also nieces and nephews.

A World War II Air Force veteran and former member of the Civil Air Patrol, he was a former security guard with Landmark Security Services. Born September 28, 1925 in Large, he was a son of the late Daniel and Hannah (Lewis) Lewis and husband of the late Katherine (Zofchak) Lewis. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Mark) Neff of Elizabeth and Sandra Geiss of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel) Neff of Forward Twp., Katherine (Scott) Jamison of Elizabeth, Craig (Lauren) Geiss of Bloomington, IN and Steven (Emily) Geiss of Columbia, MO; great-grandchildren, Elijah Neff, and Anna, Chillian, Kieran and Cormac Jamison; also, nieces and nephews.
