Denise Alene Roberts, age 69, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at home. She retired after 19 years as a waitress at Cracker Barrel in Franklin, TN. Prior to that, she maintained kitchens for many school districts in Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Born November 21, 1953 in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Meyers and the late Kathryn (Gardner) Sterner. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Paul A. Roberts; children, Larry (Melissa) Hutchinson of Bensalem and Angela Marr of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Jose), Tyler, Hannah, Robert and Kira; great-grandsons, Luke and Carson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Janine, Kathleen and Keith; stepfather, Donald Sterner; stepmother, Anne Meyers; and her beloved Reese Cup. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1-3 PM. No service is planned.
