Michael W. Faychak III, age 61, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at home. He was an installer for Beam Heating & Cooling in Monroeville and sole proprietor of Faychak Heating and Cooling. A member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., he loved hunting fishing, camping and riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed watching his son race BMX, football, snowboarding and skiing. Born August 11, 1961 in McKeesport, he was a son of Rosalie (Fasiczka) Faychak of York, SC and the late Michael W. Faychak Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melinda L. (Meyer) Faychak; son, Michael W. Richard J. Raposky, age 63 of Clairton, passed away on  Saturday March 11, 2023 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born May 4, 1959 in New Eagle, he was a son of the late Michael J. Raposky and Dorothy Jean (Svacs) King.  A 1977 graduate of Clairton High School and a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church in Clairton, Richard was a truck driver working for Posty Trucking but more recently for Nickolich Towing.  He is survived by his daughter Nicole (Scott) Karel of West Mifflin; his grandchildren Savannah and Shawn "Junior" Donnelly and E.J. and Mia Karel; his father Alvin King of Jefferson Hills; his sisters Lynnette (Ray) Zajac of Pleasant Hills and Debbie (Mark) Graham of West Mifflin; his nieces and nephews Kari, Amanda, Rachel, Abby, Kevin, Brittney, Alyssa, Brandon, Ryan, Aiden, Mason, and Jacelyn; his "brother from another mother" Nick Nickolich; and also many aunts and uncles.  Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his nephew Jason Graham.

Michelle D. (Colecchi) Vancas, age 72, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp. and a former clerical worker at Equibank in Pittsburgh. She enjoyed cooking and watching her grandchildren grow up was the highlight of her life.  Born May 7, 1950 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kern) Colecchi. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael W. Vancas; daughter, Caitlin (Justin) Driscoll of Rostraver Twp.; grandchildren, Everly and Brayden Driscoll; brother, John Colecchi of Colorado Springs, CO; and niece, Mary Colecchi of Denver, CO. Anna E. Agosti, age 88, of Elizabeth Twp., passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Agosti. She was a short-order cook at Johnnie’s Drive-In in West Elizabeth and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandma, and a member of the former St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. Born April 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Renaldo and Angelina Gornati, and sister of the late Robert, Rudy and Raymond Gornati, Adeline Cortinovis and Elda Romanic. She is survived by her five children, Bobbie (John) Martell of Punta Gorda, FL, Kevin (Julie) Agosti of Plum, Elaine Agosti of Munhall, Laurie (Jeff) Gonze of Elizabeth and Kathi (Tim) Kern of Elizabeth Twp.; 11 grandchildren, Candice Martell of Mesa, AZ, Nicole (Damian) Baskerville of Algier, NC, John (Margaret) Martell of Mesa, AZ, Austin Agosti of Munhall, Christina (Don) Blank of Elizabeth, Melissa Barrickman of Nashville, TN, James Barrickman of Las Vegas, NV, Ana Barrickman of Elizabeth, Riley (Carissa) Kern of Eighty-Four; McKenna (Tyler Crawford) Kern of Manor and Cassidy Kern of Elizabeth Twp.; great-grandchildren, Jackson Martell, Abigail, Gabrielle and Chloe Blank, Natalia, Sophia and Olivia Baskerville and Alexandra, James and Charlotte Martell. Carol E. Gergley, age 86 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 in Grandview Estates, Elizabeth Twp.  Born March 6, 1937 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Mortle and Bertha (Claude) Lowers.  A graduate of Clairton High School, Carol was an active member of Bible Baptist Temple in Jefferson Hills, serving as its pianist and choir director.  She was also a member of the Wilson Civic Association.  In her spare time, Carol loved to play cards and had an amazing tradition of always cooking a big Saturday morning breakfast for family, friends, neighbors, and anyone who wanted to come by.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Eugene "Geno" M. Gergley, who passed away December 11, 2009; her son Darrell Gergley; her daughter Carol "Sissy" Kurta; her brothers Glenn, Wayne, and Ronald Mortle; her son-in-law Richard Kurta; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Mortle.  Carol is survived by her daughters Glinda (Joe) Sekulich, Lora (Craig) Pittman, and Sharla (Jeff) McConeghy, all of Jefferson Hills; her grandchildren Jessica Hernandez, Janel (Aaron) Whitfield, Julianne (David) Dixon, Dustin (Rebekka) Pittman, Garrett (fiancee' Hannah) Pittman, Cody Pittman; Daniel (fiancee' Heather) McConeghy , David (fiancee' Christina) McConeghy, Nicole (Steve) Mongelluzzo, Brandon (Gina) Kurta, Frank Oates, and Shane Oates; her 27 great-grandchildren; her daughters-in-law Renee (Frank) Oates and Billie Jo Kurta; her sisters-in-laws Claudia "Jake" Mortle, Virginia Mortle and Lillian Gergley; her brother-in-law Mike (Joyce) Gergley; and also nieces and nephews.

He was a 2004 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, attended Dean Technical Institute, and was a member of the Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company. Born June 7, 1986 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Kathleen Elms of Oakmont, formerly of Elizabeth, and the late James H. Elms. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughter, Ella Rose Elms of Elizabeth; sister, Brittany Elms of Baldwin; also, aunts, uncles and cousins. Owen K. Kunzman, age 71, of Elizabeth , passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired plaster and drywall finisher. He was a social member of the Elizabeth and Blaine Hill volunteer fire companies, and enjoyed pool, golf and fishing. Born February 17, 1952 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Edward P. Kunzman Sr. and the late Mae (Delmer) Kunzman. He is survived by his companion with whom he resided, Victoria Rothey; and extended family, Victoria (James) Williams of Jefferson Hills, Grace Ann Williams, Sylvia Marie Williams, James Christian Williams and Jackson Robert Williams. Toth, age 85 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born July 25, 1937 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Evan) Toth.  Edward was the owner of East Bank Machine Co. of Elizabeth and a member of St. John 23rd. Parish - St. Isaac Jogues Church, the Elrama Gun Club, and the Porsche Club of America.   Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Ruthanne (Leasure) Toth, who passed away February 12, 2021, his son Edward A. Toth, his brother Joseph Toth, and his sister Dolores Breda.  Edward is survived by his daughter Valerie (Oscar) Keys of Bel Air, MD, his grandchildren Sierra and Chelsey Keys, his sister Elsie Stolic of Philadelphia, and also nieces and nephews.

Born March 1, 1952 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Audrey (Cavanaugh) Novak. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Arthur Sutton; children, Wesley Sutton of Harmony, Amy Owens of McKeesport and Eric (Nancy Ankrom) Sutton of Pleasant Hills; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah, Jackson, Charlotte and Isla; siblings, Thelma Prichard of the state of California, Mary Lou (Tim) Austin of Ludlow and David (Monica) Novak of West Mifflin; also, nieces and nephews. Russell Mark Caley, age 66, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at Mon Valley Care Center, after a long and brave fight against Multiple Sclerosis.  Prior to his physical decline, Russell was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing, and hunting, and was a longtime member of Elizabeth Twp. Sportsman Association. Born in McKeesport on February 2, 1956, he was a son of the late Dean and Dorothy (Carbaugh) Caley. He is survived by two children, Sabrina (Adam) Fossi of Pittsburgh and Alex Caley of Buena Vista; four grandchildren, Audrey and Enzo Fossi, and Seth and Travis Caley; eight siblings, Wanda (Ken) Durick, Diana (Chuck) Dow, Dean “H” Caley, Vernon (Darla) Caley, Sheila (Tom) Jaskolski, Julie (Randy) Bottorff, Curtis (Lisa) Caley, and Aaron (Carrie) Caley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Bambi Caley in 2008.  Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bonnie L. Vanscoy, age 74 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in John J. Kane Regional Center - McKeesport.  Born April 13, 1948 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late James "Bud" and Vera (Gabauer) Wagner.  A former beautician in the area and member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Mark's Church, Liberty Site, Bonnie loved to travel, especially to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and to the casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City for a little gambling.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Vanscoy, who passed away in 2020, and her son Brian Vanscoy, who passed away in 1994.  Bonnie is survived by her siblings James (Carolyn) Wagner of Glastonbury, CT, Kerry (Phillip) Corey of Liberty Borough, Kay (Timothy) Barry of Salem, OH, Daniel (JoAnna) Wagner of Reno, NV, Janine Wagner of Glassport, Lori (the late Glenn) Kraus of Liberty Borough, and Lisa (David) Thomas of Liberty Borough; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and her beloved cat Toby.

Park Sr. of West Newton, Shirley Diane (Michael) Kolesar of McKeesport, Patrick (Carole) Park of Elizabeth Twp., Gary (Sherry) Park of Elizabeth Twp., Glen Park of New Stanton and Kenneth (Kelly) Park of Rittman, OH; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Hicks of Foot of Ten, PA and Alice Cann of Allentown; also, nieces and nephews. Clarence G. Hobaugh, age 77, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home. He was a retired self-employed electrical engineer and computer programmer and a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp. An Air Force veteran, he was a former member of the Masonic lodge and social member of Blaine Hill Fire Hall and local VFWs, and a member of a local ham radio club. He enjoyed golf, was a master fixer and tinkerer of all things, and had some interesting theories about gravity. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and teaching them how to play chess. He had some interesting theories about gravity. Born December 4, 1945 in Uniontown, he was a son of the late Charles and Freda (Edenfield) Hobaugh and husband of the late Tracey D. (Thompson) Hobaugh. He is survived by sons, Benjamin J. (Jennifer Ford) Hobaugh of Monongahela and Jonathan C. (Trisha) Hobaugh of Greensburg; granddaughters, Violet Marie Hobaugh and Evelina Rose Hobaugh; and sister-in-law, Mary Hobaugh-Bitner. He loved fishing, camping and working on cars, and enjoyed attending his granddaughter's softball games. Born July 10, 1958 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary Ann (Butvin) Scapellato. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen S. Ciro J. Venturini

Ciro J. Venturini, age 88 of White Oak, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.  Born August 10, 1934 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Pio and Virginia (Banchig) Venturini.  A master bricklayer and talented craftsman and member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Angela of Merici Church, Ciro, or "PopPop" as he was known to his dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was an active man.  He enjoyed socializing at his favorite clubs: the 11th. Ward Club in McKeesport, CFU Lodge #146 in Versailles, and the BOP Elks # 872 and VFW Post # 5887, both in Ridgeway near his camp: "Camp Booze and Snooze."  At those locales, he'd knock back a few Millers, a.k.a. "Road Pops."   Ciro was also an avid hunter and fisherman, stalking his quarry of deer, elk, moose, and caribou and fishing for walleyes and salmon all throughout North America.  Ciro met his wife Irene (Morosko) Venturini at a polka dance at St. Mary’s on Versailles Ave. She passed away on July 22, 2021 after 67 years of marriage.  From there, they were able to travel the world, tracing her roots in Slovakia and his own family tree back to Azzida and Antro, Italy.  His last words were of happily being with his bride again. Ciro was also an accomplished cook, proud of his specialties of polenta, chili, and hot sausage, always followed up by a fondness of sweets.
