Herbert C. Petticord Sr., age 84, of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at home. He retired as a self-employed general contractor. Born August 3, 1938 in Wilkinsburg, he was a son of  the late Violet Osftin. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita Ann (Domer) Petticord: children, Herbert C. (Michelle) Petticord Jr. of Bayou Vista, TX, Leslie (Brien) Savko of Daisytown, Lynette Petticord of Florida, Dawn (James) Holgerson of Jefferson Hills and Sherry (Daniel) Sabatasso of Missouri; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by siblings, Don, Lee, Joseph and Faye. No visitation is planned. A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 12 Noon in the chapel at Round Hill Cemetery with the Rev. John Pope officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements by the Paul E. Ruth Ann (Kenny) McClintock, age 99, of Ingleside, IL, formerly of Elizabeth and Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at home. She was a wonderful wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of The Church of God. She and her husband worked together to build the family business, McClintock Insurance Agency in Elizabeth, where she was the office administrator until retirement. During World War II she worked for Curtis Wright in Erie making C47 cargo planes. She enjoyed spending the last 30 years of her retirement in Florida. Born April 30, 1924 in Somerset, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rosy (Zecker) Kenny and wife of the late John L. McClintock. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Steve) Pals and Kathy McClintock, both of Chicago, IL; sons, David J. (Janet) McClintock of Weirton, WV and Keith T. (Sandy) McClintock of Baroda, MI; daughter-in-law, Natalie B. (Bob) Marsiglio of Elizabeth Twp.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Dennis L. McClintock; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rose and Helen. There was no visitation. Private funeral service and burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Gary Lamb officiating. Eileen E. Slinchock, age 86 of Port Vue, passed away at home on Monday, May 1, 2023.  Born September 26, 1936 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Kapuska) Poturich.  A retired bank secretary for McKeesport National Bank, Eileen was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Eugene's Site.  In her spare time, Eileen loved to go on trips to the beach and lay out for hours in the sun.  She also loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles, and read.  However, most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  Eileen joins her husband, the late Albert Slinchock, who passed away April 3, 2002.  She is survived by her children Larry (Joann Binnie) of Plum Borough, Lisa (Dale) McCune of Wall, Cindy (Alvin) Rivera of Tampa, FL, and Lynn (Robert) Wargo of Port Vue; her grandchildren Dale Andrew, Garlan (Jennifer), and Zachary (Christina) McCune, Sydney, Mackenzie, Hayden, and Ethan Stec, and Brandon and Nikki Wargo; her four great-grandchildren Alexandra Black and Madison, Connor, and Wyatt McCune; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by her siblings Nicholas and Edward Poturich.

Linda Anne Muster, age 74 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at home.  Born July 29, 1948 in Placentia, Newfoundland, and was a daughter of the late Randolph and Molly (Rose) Murphy.  Linda worked as a sales associate at Joseph Hornes Department Store in Century III Mall and then as a bank teller with PNC Bank in Clairton.  She was also an auxillary member of the Daniel Keffer American Legion Post # 75, Clairton.  Linda is survived by her fiance' of 29 years Gerald A. Ward; her sons Richard (Greta) Muster of Clairton and Randy (Sherri) Muster of Bristow, VA; her daughter Tina (Craig) Pracht of Mars; her grandchildren: Kaylee, Loren, Sara, and Ian; her great-grandchildren: Willow, Ruby, Lilly, and Jackson; her great-great-grandchildren Liam and Scarlett; and her siblings Randy, Allen, and Rick Murphy, Peggy Wilson, Yvonne Noseworthy, and Jackie Murphy.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Muster and grandson Freddy.

James G. Nevin III, age 85, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at home. He retired as the owner/operator of Nevin Trucking in Forward Twp. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth and a former member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, where he and Lois were married Nov. 1, 1957. He was a 50-year member of Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge 526 of Elizabeth, a senior member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry for 50 years, and a member of the Syria Shriners. He was owner of Erickson & Nevin Motorsports and loved competing at Motordrome, Jennerstown and Clearfield speedways. He enjoyed tending to herds of cattle in Forward Twp., as well as the associated responsibilities of farming. Born August 18, 1937 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late James Gordon Nevin Jr. and the late Marian (Ferver) Nevin. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois S. (Sorg) Nevin; sons, Ralph (Linda) Nevin of Forward Twp. and Billy (Janine) Nevin of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Natalie (Brian Thurmon) Conte, Aimee (Alex) Matscherz, Amelia (Nate Rozek) Nevin and Justin (Ashley) Nevin; great-grandchildren, Haylee Marcione, Brian Thurmon, Zoe, Kai and Ila Matscherz, and Aubree Nevin; sister-in-law, Wilma Nevin of Ligonier; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert J. Wargo, Sr., age 90 of McKeesport, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born April 27, 1933 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Petr and Pauline Wargo.  A US Army Veteran of the Korean War, Robert retired from US Steel's Monroeville research facility.  He was a member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #3, and the Archer Hill Bowling League.  In his spare time he loved hunting, fishing, yard work and gardening, tinkering with cars, listening to Willies Roadhouse and Croatian music hour, and -- most of all -- spending time with his family and beloved dog, Mr. Gibson.  He is survived by his wife Maryann (Volarich) Wargo; his children Robert J. (Ann Marie) Wargo of Pasadena, MD and Carol Reilly of McKeesport; his grandchildren Matthew Bartko, Michael (Samantha Cassol) Reilly, and Lynette (boyfriend Brock Nagle) Reilly; his siblings Paula Gardner of Ohio, Charles "Willie" Wargo of Glassport, Elizabeth Krumenaker of Florida, and Norma Jean Dunlay of North Huntingdon; many nieces and nephews, and his former son-in-law Gene Reilly. Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his siblings Mary Pazur, Helen Kerston, Anne O'Brien, Pete Wargo, Margie Endress, and Irene Hernishin.

Edward A. Hann, age 91, of Bethel Park, and formerly of Tom's River, NJ passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Celebration Villa of South Hills. A Coast Guard veteran and a Mason, he retired as an adjuster for General Adjusters Bureau in New York and was a personal and commercial insurance agent in New York. Born December 7, 1931 in Tuckerton, NJ, he was a son of the late Blanche Risley Hann and husband of the late Barbara (Close) Hann. He is survived by sons, Wells L. (Lourdes) Hann of Dormont and David (Laurie) Hann of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughters, Andrea McHugh and Alessandra Gudmundsson; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Liam McHugh. Ronald "Stumpy" DeMaio

Ronald "Stumpy" DeMaio, age 66 of Rostraver, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.  Born October 30, 1956 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Albert S. and Vilma (Verlich) DeMaio.  He worked for U.S. Steel, Clairton Works and went on to worrk for Teamsters Union #241 as a truckdriver. He was a motorcyclist for 50 years and a member of Pagan's Motorcycle Club for 34 years. Ronald was a member of St. Ann's Church in Rostraver.  He is survived by his wife Jeroma (Fabian) DeMaio, his daughter Elizabeth (Todd) Chisler of Waynesburg, his granddaughter Jewel Chisler, and his brother Gary DeMaio of Bethel Park.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces-and-nephews, and his sister-in-law Clara DeMaio.  In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings Michelle Kelly and Russell DeMaio, Sr..

They were the former proprietors of Vangie's Restaurant in Renzie Park in McKeesport, and she enjoyed gardening and cooking Greek food. Born September 8, 1942 in Samos, Greece, she was a daughter of the late Anastase and Magdaline (Frangoulis) Plataniotis and wife of the late George K. Argyros. She is survived by children, Ken "Greek" (Tammy) Argyros of Elizabeth Twp. and Maggie Argyros of New York, NY; and grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon), Alexis (Matthew) and Nicholas. "Blue Jay" Gori, age 78 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, April 21, 2023.  Born July 16, 1944 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Magdalene (Benedetto) Gori.  A US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, Blue Jay worked for 34 years at GM's Fisher Body Plant in West Mifflin.  He was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church; the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75, and the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #4, all in Clairton.  Blue Jay was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers and Pitt.

Lisa Ann (Harkins) Coleman, age 55, of Elrama, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital. She retired as a sales consultant for Verizon and was part owner of Big Girls Barbecue. A graduate of Ringgold High School, she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, and loved her family and three dogs. Born May 1, 1967 in Monongahela, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Sally (Walters) Harkins. She is survived by her husband, David Coleman, whom she was with for 28 years and married for 22 years; daughters, Stephanie Uremovich of Bridgeville and Tiffany Merolillo of Pittsburgh; siblings, Jenny (Bob) Bane of Charleroi, Leroy (Madeline) Harkins of Elrama, Keith (Renae) Harkins of Elizabeth Twp. and Scott (Karen) Harkins of New Eagle; sister-in-law, Felicia Harkins of Charleroi; also, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
