Tawny M. Socrates, 59 of McKeesport passed away on Thursday January 7, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital.  She was born on June 15, 1956 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Teman Socrates.  Tawny was a Nurse with United Healthcare.  She is survived by her daughter Richelle M. (David Hardy) Socrates of McKeesport, brothers; Steven (Lisa) Socrates of North Huntingdon, Anthony ( Sandi) Socrates of Penn Twp., sister; Luanne (Curtis) Valdiserri of North Huntingdon, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Tawny was preceded in death by her son Julian.  A memorial visitation will be held on Monday Jan. 11, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Jennifer S. Jordan Funeral Home, Inc., White Oak.  In lieu of flowers the family gratefully requests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Condolences may be made at www.jenniferjordanfuneralhome.com
