Sally Ann Figas, age 66, of McKeesport, died  peacefully February 9, 2018.  Sally dedicated her life to caring for her family and truly adored her grandchildren and nephew. Born May 17, 1951, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Louise (Boland) Pechar and the life partner of William A. King.

Sally was a longtime employee of the  American Expediting Company and former employee of the G.C. Murphy Company and a card carrying member of the Society of Murphy's Employees Retired and Fired. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Sally had a powerful enthusiasm for hockey throughout her life, she aided in starting the 3 time State Champion Serra High School Hockey Team and was  the secretary for the PIHL and worked with TAHA and the Pittsburgh Penguins to advance youth and High School hockey in Western Pennsylvania.  Sally was a 20 + year  season ticket holder of both the Steelers and the Penguins. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events and dinner with family and friends.

Sally is survived by her son, Edward (Jody) Figas of South Side; grandchildren, Madeline and Molly; brother, Tim (Bonnie) Pechar of Charlotte, NC; nephew, Caden Pechar of North Carolina. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m, with a Panachida Service at 6 p.m. Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Fr Gregory Madeya will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Ivy's Ark Pet Rescue, 66 Economy Grade Rd., Coraopolis, PA 15108.
