Robert E. Massie, age 59, of White Oak, died February 8, 2018. Born March 16, 1958, in McKeesport, he was the son of Robert M. Massie and Gayle R. (Pierce) Massie and the husband of Nancy Massie.

Bob was Owner and Operator of Bob Massie Toyota, where he and his family served the community for over 50 years. His passion for community and automobiles led him to sponsor many annual car cruises, such as the McKeesport Angora Gardens, Norwin Hills and Norwin Elks just to name a few. He also loved animals and served on the board of directors, at the White Oak Animal Safe Haven. He was a F&AM, Duquesne - McKeesport Lodge #731 and a Syria Shriner. He will be best remembered for his kind heart, you couldn't go anywhere without someone knowing Bob. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is survived by his children, Jason (Laura) Massie of North Huntingdon and Heather L. Massie of McKeesport; step-sons, Richard (Lisa) Roma and Kris Roma both of McKeesport; grandchildren, Lexy and Gi Gi Roma, Brennan Massie, Aiden, Serena and Isabelle Link; sister, Sherlynn Rusnak of North Huntingdon; nieces and nephews; and his precious loyal pet dog "Shelby." He was preceded in death by his sister, Laurel Lynn Massie. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 10 a.m., at Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church. Pastor Jessica McClure Archer will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions are suggested to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
