Arlene L. (Aston) Izatt, 82, of North Versailles, died Thursday February 1, 2018. She was born July 18, 1936 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George Moore and Margaret Mary (Quinn) Aston and was also preceded in death by her beloved son James George Izatt, former husband James Izatt, and siblings, twin sister Elaine C. Hickey, Rowland Aston, George D. Aston, and Audrey Aston McIndoe. Arlene was a retired employee of Westinghouse Airbrake Co., Wilmerding, a member of Linway Presbyterian Church, North Versailles, an avid bowler, an excellent pianist, and was wonderful at handicapping horseracing. She is survived by two grandchildren Lauren Lisa and James Michael Izatt, brothers H. Carl Aston of Wilmerding and A. Craig Aston of FL, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Eric Dennis, officiating. Interment will follow in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in Arlene’s name to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh PA 15234.
