Yolanda L. (Hovan) Granata, 68, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday April 23, 2017. She was born November 16, 1948 in Spangler, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Dolores (Lawrence) Hovan and was also preceded in death by two brothers Nicholas Jr. and William Hovan. Yolanda loved her grandchildren, enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and reading, and was a fantastic baker. She was a former employee of Wal Mart. She is survived by her husband of fifty one years Darryl D. Granata Sr.; her children Darryl D. (Diane) Granata Jr. of North Huntingdon and Kimberly L. (Bruce) Jennings of Irwin; her grandchildren Jacob, Brittany, Christopher, Dominic, and Olivia Granata and Victoria and Amber Jennings; a great grand child on the way; a sister Mary Ruth (Kevin) Byers of Penn Township; also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Agnes Catholic Church. Private interment will be in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
