Stella “Ceber” Giger, 86, of White Oak, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023, at UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville. She was born February 21, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, to the late George and Mary Stephanic Kresovich. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 66 years, Daniel Giger. Stella was a devoted mother to four children: Danny (deceased); Mitchell Giger (Melanie) of North Huntingdon; Philip Giger (Mandy – deceased) of White Oak; and JoLynn (Scott) Striegel of Bethel Park. Additionally, Stella took pride in her role as a grandmother to six grandchildren: Tricia (Brandon), Olivia (Trent), Brooke, Max, Blake, and Taylor, as well as a great-grandmother to Harlow. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stella was also preceded in death by her sister, Diana Kresovich, and brother George Momich.

Stella was a beloved friend and neighbor and an active member of the Bryn Mawr Church of Christ. An avid animal lover, she rescued several dogs over the years. A giving person, Stella made many charitable contributions.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 30, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory, 2703 O’Neil Boulevard, McKeesport, PA 15132. Services will be held Wednesday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery, 1301 Lincoln Highway, North Versailles, PA 15137.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.  At the request of the family, donations can be made to White Oak Animal Safe Haven in Stella Giger’s honor.  Chris Odasso, Supervisor
