Quanisha Lashay Ball, 31, of McKeesport, PA passed away on November 17, 2022. Quanisha was born on September 20, 1991 to Courtney Tompkins & Clarence Ball, Sr. in Pittsburgh, PA.

Quanisha also known as Q, spent her younger years growing up in McKeesport, PA with her siblings where she enjoyed playing softball, basketball and mimed for Macedonia Church of Duquesne. She also enjoyed being a member of LaRosa boys and girls club.

After graduating high school in 2010, Quanisha moved to Port Vue, PA where she established her independence. She worked for Walmart for 5+ years, Aramark for 10+ years and UPMC where she started in the cafeteria before she worked her way up to an office position at Western Psych. All of the jobs, Quanisha worked hard and excelled to higher levels alongside her sister Alexis before she embarked on her new journey and chapter in Decatur, GA. While in Georgia, Quanisha continued to flourish and blossom into her own womanhood.  Q found her niche at Emory Winship Cancer Institute where she felt at home and touched many hearts by assisting her patients.

Quanisha’s life was filled with love laughter and beautiful memories. Quanisha had a heart of gold. She loved to give and make those closest to her happy, especially her nieces and nephews who she adored. She enjoyed shopping, music, daily FaceTime conversations with her family and traveling. Quanisha enjoyed experiencing new things and going to new cities; Vegas being her favorite. She was in love with fashion with a big affection for her hats, Q had her own unique and beautiful style. Last but not least, if you knew Q, you knew she had a strong endearment for her wife, Rihanna.

Quanisha departed to join her great-grandmother Ada, great-grandfathers Oliver and Bradley, uncle Woody and beloved brother Chauncey.

Her most cherished moments were spent with her mother Courtney, great grandmother‘s Mildred and Barbara; Grandmother’s Libby (Q being the favorite), Rain and Grandfather Rodney. The bond she shared with her siblings Clarence (Cball), Natasha, Alexis, Sa’vonce, Natasha (Brother), Jim Jim (Cleo), Jakari, Kanaada and Zion can not be replaced. The love she had for her nieces and nephews Je’vaeh, Kahliyah, Cameron, Skylar, Kingsten, Zuri, Amir, Jakari Jr and Jakai was bigger than words can describe. Family being one of the most important things to Quanisha, she had a deep love for her aunts, uncles, godfather, God children, cousins, bonus parents and friends.
