Timothy Stephen Petrisko, 80 years old of Duquesne, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.  Tim was born in Duquesne to the late Stephen and Helen Petrisko. He grew up with his siblings, Sean, Joel and Mary Lou.

Tim worked at the Duquesne Steel Mill until the plant began to close down. After a variety of opportunities, he went to work for UPMC and became a supervisor for numerous parking facilities. During this time, he served on the Duquesne Public Schools school board for six years. After his time on the school board, he served on Duquesne City Council for 26 years. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church Duquesne PA, where he was also a member and Past President of the Church’s Men’s Club.   Tim was also a member of the Duquesne-West Mifflin Knights of Columbus Council 4210 and the Stephen P. Barry Assembly of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus.  

In his early 20’s, he met Carol (Yesesky) and a short time later, they were married October 19, 1963 and started a family complete with 3 children. Being a dependable father was of the utmost importance to Tim and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to supporting his family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol (Yesesky) Petrisko; his three children, Timothy R. (Terri) of Cary, NC, Robert (Kim) of Allison Park and Christina (Ian) Caballero of Waldorf, MD; and his five grandchildren, Tiffany Petrisko, Angelica Petrisko, Gabrielle Petrisko, Julio Caballero and Rebekah Caballero; sister Mary Lou Petrisko of Evansville, IN, brothers Deacon Sean (Ruth) Petrisko of Homestead and Joel Petrisko of West View.

Family and friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. on Friday May 13, 2022 in the William S. Skovranko emorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 9:15 A.M. will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church with Rev. Will Rupp as celebrant. Burial will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin
