Clarence Edward Coleman, Jr., 64 of McKeesport, peacefully transitioned September 4, 2016 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born March 29, 1952 in McKeesport, PA, son of Clarence E. Coleman Jr. and the late Jeraldine Barlow Coleman. He was preceded in death by grandchildren Gianni Baines and Wyneika Jefferson.

Clarence was an active member of Pittsburgh New Life Ministries, where he served as an Assistant Pastor and Treasurer. He was also a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he sang in the Macedonia Baptist Church Male Choir and was a member of Deacon Board.

He worked as a Custodian for South Park School District. Surviving are wife, Rev. Louise Coleman; four sons, Clarence E. Coleman, III, Robert D. Smarr, Sr. of Duquesne, PA, Curtis L. Gore of New Haven, CT, Etius B. Coleman of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Jerald Coleman of McKeesport, PA; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Arletta Tinsley of West Homestead, PA., nieces, nephews,
and cousins.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut Street, McKeesport, where services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Earlene Coleman, officiating.

Interment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
