Raymond T. Sovak, 72, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Duquesne, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Born in Pittsburgh, September 10, 1948, he was the son of the Late John N. and Bertha V. (Hudak) Sovak. Mr. Sovak was a member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by a brother Eugene (Late Marsha) Sovak; two nieces, Dr. Lisa Ann Sovak, and Christine Marie Sovak; and five cousins, James R. Hudak, Francis R. Hudak, Georgeann Clymer, George E. Sovak, and Joanne (Fred) Conner. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by a brother John F. Sovak, and two cousins Rev. Robert A. Kohuch and Joseph M. Ruszkoski.

 Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., Duquesne, from 9am until a Panachida service at 11am. Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30am in SS Peter and Paul Church with Rev. Will Rupp as Celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin.
