Frank A. (Rock) Todaro age 94 of Glassport, died January 3, 2021 at John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. He was born September 15th, 1926 in Glassport. He was the son of the late Ralph V. and Jennie Todaro; beloved husband of the late Jean (Dabruzzo) Todaro. Frank is survived by his sons Ralph V. (Sheila L.) and Robert (Bernadette), Grandson Jimmy Fulton, step-grandsons Scott M. and Shawn P. Stewart, 7 great grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews. Frank was preceded in death by sisters Mary Zaya, Rose Vicchio, Mary Ruffo, brothers John, Joseph, Nicholas Todaro and Nucci Ponzo and daughter Barbara Ann (Charles) Fulton.

Frank retired from the Copperweld in Glassport. He served in the United States Army, Company B, 504th Military Police Battalion from 1944 to 1946. Awards he received European-African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Army Occupation Medal and Second Award Combat Infantry Badge. In civilian life he received the Community Citation of Recognition from Rich Fitzgerald, County Executive for Volunteer service at John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport, presented April 24, 2013. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy Club, Polish National Alliance Club, Social Lions Club and a member of Queen of Rosary Church, Glassport. Hobbies included playing guitar and entertaining, repaired radios and television sets and working in his garage. In his younger years he coached Glassport’s Little League “Dodgers” baseball team, also he was an amateur boxer. 

Visitation will be private.  A funeral mass will be held on Wed. 1:00 pm at the Queen of the  Rosary Parish.  Interment following New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechwoski Funeral Home, Glassport.
